This is my 2017 rallycross project, a 1989 Peugeot 405 DL swapped with the 1991 Mi16 engine and trans. The car has been sitting since 2010 getting taken back by nature.

Stirling Moss, when I got my hands on it it already had the motor swapped. from what I heard it's not hard to do, but this was also done years upon years ago. parts are scarce and expensive now!
I see, do you know any good websites for parts? Are you on any 405 forums? It's impossible to find anything active for this car. I just want to do a 5 speed swap on the 1.9. I believe the mi16 trans is different on your car. Found a couple 5 speeds online.

I just picked up a 405DL, how hard is it to swap the dual cam motor and 5 speed? I'd appreciate any advice! Are parts hard to find?
