    Thank you for making these Ninja Speedi meals. Mine was sitting unused until I saw your videos. Sunday I made the shrimp alfredo and today I made this chicken and rice a roni. They turned out perfect. I would love to see more of these videos. I have already binged all your speedi vids. Keep them coming!😋

    I have just purchased my Speedi and did 2 meals. A seasoned chicken breast and a burger. Simple. The chicken comes out as James describes, succulent and perfectly cooked. The burger was great too. This machine is so versatile. I’m looking forward to doing the crispy chicken as just the sound of it makes you feel hungry. Hope James can come up with some more recipes. Thank you.

    Hey James! I just want to say thank you for your Speedi recipes. I've probably made this recipe at least six times and each time was very good. I do need to add a bit more water, but I'm at a higher altitude. I change up the seasonings on the chicken. I've also made pork chops instead of chicken. Thanks so much!

    I have a question: What do you think about cooking the green beans with the rice? Just put them on top of the rice. Seems like you wouldn't have to dirty up another pot or whatever you used to heat them up.

    • @CookinWithJames
      @CookinWithJames  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. Put the green beans with it. Sounds good

    Okay,the chicken resembled yours very crispy,and the Rice a Roni was perfect. I have to say I prefer white chicken meat,but this recipe was good. Used two tbsps of canola oil instead of butter. I don't use butter anymore. How do you reheat any leftovers? In the microwave?

    Hello James, I am so enjoying your video's on the speedi! I have a question for you on the rice a roni, I usually use 2 boxes at a time. Would I follow the directions that are on the box, say I am using the beef - it calls for 2 1/2 cups of water per box. Would I then use the actual 5 cups of water needed for a double batch? And would the speedi cooking time be the same -15 minutes? thank you for your help James!

    • @CookinWithJames
      @CookinWithJames  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it will be the same. If any water left at the end add a couple minutes. But ya it should be good

      @@CookinWithJames I used 4 3/4 cups of water, if I do another double batch, I think I will try just 4 cups of maybe just a bit less. The rice a roni was good, but I felt it tasted "watery" , don't know if I can describe it! I should have cooked it just a few minutes more maybe. But what was cool (and I am sorry now I didn't take a picture for you), the top had a nice crisp to it! That took me by surprise, so if I had cooked it longer, it would have been a really nice and crisp topping! Again, thanks for your video's!

    Hi James! I'm new to the Speedi and love your videos. What does the Speedi do that prevents skinless chicken from drying out and getting hard?

  • @rolandgadue4351
    @rolandgadue4351 ปีที่แล้ว

    James, nice looking meal! too bad the Ninja Speedi did not have 3 levels and then you could have cooked your greens beans with it. I wonder if chicken wings would work instead of chicken thighs. The dripping from the chicken must have made that rice more flavorful. I have everything to try but the chicken thighs, I have wings instead.

    I am sad to report this recipe was my first unmitigated disaster after 2 excellent recipe results. The rice was sitting in water when the 20 minutes was up,and the chicken was done,but a little on the dry,chewy side. I had a box of Uncle Ben's brown rice,unopened,which I wanted to use up. I used a random selection of Italian spices in the rice.Used the recommended amount of water to cook the one cup of rice.😪😪

I increased the water to 2 cups because with the cheese seasoning, I wanted a bit more moisture. I added two minutes to the cooking time.
