I remember when they toured to support that record, my previous band opened for them in Québec City and they slept on my appartment's floor. We partied all night after the show. When I woke up the next morning, they were gone. They cleaned the place an left a nice note. Very nice and classy guys!
This song was on repeat in my head through most of my time in the Corps and got me through a lot of shit. Thanks for everything, guys, you have no idea how much of an impact youve made. Semper fi 🤙
Holy shit, I saw these guys live when I was in high school and FUCK it was incredible. A friend of mine and I were crouched on the edge of the stage by the speakers and Andrew shoved the mic in our faces as we screamed the lyrics to their cover of Mad World. Fucking amazing night. This song brings back so many memories.
I went to a lot of their house shows in san marco in 2003-2004 and i still cant forget when someone threw a beer can and i ducked and it hit my gf behind me. I felt really bad it gave her a split temple and permanent scar.
I remember seeing these guys at warped tour in SF in 08, such a fun and awesome set. Got to meet the lineup of the band during this time they were all super cool guys and took the time to talk to me and my friend. Good times good memories
@@iiiSK8orDI3iii Barely lol he doesn’t even participate until the final bridge and breakdown. The rest of the time it’s the guitarists laying down vocals.
I remember the first time I heard them when they came to Russia with Agnostic front, and were their opening act. I think they were quite popular in America at that time, but no one had heard of them in Russia, and most likely this song was their title hit. And when they sang it, the vocalist tried so hard to light up the crowd, but no one in the audience had any idea what kind of song it was, no one knew the words, much less the chorus, and everyone just looked at the stage without moving. But they burned it off then in an adult way. It's been almost 20 years, it's still powerful
They will be better eith Slipknot headliner. These dudes from florida the main reason they headlined. I lived in kenosha wisconsin when all that when down....how do you hate on kid who was getting jumped on video and beaten....then they were going to execute him.....crazy people
Honestly they're not good or big enough to drop out over hurt feelings. These guys are mid ad best and have had well over a decade to gain popularity. This just makes them look weak minded and shows us they'll always be a D tier band
@@jlwking8407 not even a fan of them, but having standards or morals isn't an overall bad thing. You claiming some bullshit reasoning doesn't mean they're wrong to think of their brand as a business. Why the fuck would anyone wanna be associated with that dipshit?
I saw them preforme this song live with bury your dead, for the fallen dreams, and i forgot the 4th band, that was the best concert i ever went to, i think it was around 2010. a great band highly underrated.
In the midst of Lions was the 4th band. I went to the same tour, I first seen ET back in 07 and I seen them 6 or 7 times they always did an awesome job and never got the credit they deserved. Josh left and is with stick to your guns now
@666metalsucks666 That's the beauty of having diverse music in our culture. If there was no versatility or diversity in music and it only met the needs of one person's tastes, with no rhyme or reason, well...music wouldn't matter at all, would it? I'm glad a song like this exists. I hate monotony.
So happy a non-metal band dropped out of a metal venue. There is hope a heavier metal band is available. Legit "sounds" to me this is easily replaceable.
@fatguyeatscheetos its an app from itunes, its sort of like guitar hero for your fingers/thumbs and you level along the way you get different songs, you can also buy different songs for taptap but you get a majority (nless your rich -_-) of your songs from the leveling and free. This song is on tap tap revenge on hard.
why isnt this song on my local rock station? haha this songs soft enough to make the radio so i think it should and give evergreen terrace some of the recognition they deserve
I met the singer at a bar he was cool as fuck sat there and talked to me for awhile it was hilarious because i was on a evergreen trip the whole day and then the lead singer walks in had to talk to him....
Ive never seen them live. I live in Nebraska, and am seriously contemplating driving to Birmingham, Alabama to see them at Furnace Fest. Fucking love these guys.
I am fucking pumped for today!! Finally seeing these legends today in a little recording studio in a little town in Australia!! Soooo fucking good!! 👊🏻👊🏻
One of the founding members contracted ligma after a vacation in south america and subsequently died upon returning to the states. The remaining band members felt it would be disrespectful to play their songs after the death, so they broke up. Two of the remaining members are currently running a charity for ligma research!
Damn makes you jump tk fuking up when you cant jump the fuk up lol j was in my early teens early thirtys im still proude to be hardcore with battle scars!!!
These guys are amazing. I adore them. To y'all haters, screw you. They're making money doing something they love doing. It's called envy. Admit it and get over it.
11 years later and the intro still gets me pumped
hardcore banger
Yep
@@iiiSK8orDI3iii same here in 2020

Nice my best friend in victorville had a similar experience
Who's listening in 2020? :D heard a new album is on the way?
🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
Rock man
Hell yes I'm still listening to these guys. And man oh man, please let that be true. I could use some new Evergreen Terrace in my life lol.
This sinking ship will not be abandoned ;)

I remember when this album was released... dam cant believe has been 11 years fuck, im getting old...
I don't get why this band didn't got bigger.
This song was a banger
Because people suck and the music most of them like sucks as well!
Because they were active during the time that overly technical dweebs ruined everything with their elitism
They weren’t huge or small, just a good amount of fame, they still went on tour, and I believe one of the band members was only 13 and went on tour
Still one of the anthems of my youth
When the vocalist doesn't show up to practice but you and the boys still write the new tune anyways.
I was curious why blonde boy wasn’t participating at all lol

I wish a new album was on its way. Been listening and faithful since buried alive by time 🤷🏼♂️😎
LOOKS LIKE WE FINALLY MADE IT!!!!!!!!!!
New fan here! Thanks for pulling out of Shell Shock ✌🏼
I miss these guys. Buried alive by time is still one of my favorite albums of all time and their most underrated CD as well!!!!
Takes me back to my days of rocking this on my way to school in the morning. God this song got me going
I'm just being nosey. Heard about the Shell Shock controversy and wanted to see what these guys sounded like. 🤷🏽♀️ it's alright
Same here. The breakdown is real solid. Overall pretty good.

Saw this band in London a few years back. They fucking jammed that night.
why isnt this song on my local rock station? haha this songs soft enough to make the radio so i think it should and give evergreen terrace some of the recognition they deserve
It's like they're singing cliques instead of anything substantive.
Still as awesome as the first time i saw them 🤘
2021 and this song is still a banger
both guitarists were doing all the vocals while the front man was just running around lol
props for dropping out of the rittenhouse festival
So are you a pdf file or city burner?
Yeah, that's what it was
they kick ass live
I met the singer at a bar he was cool as fuck sat there and talked to me for awhile it was hilarious because i was on a evergreen trip the whole day and then the lead singer walks in had to talk to him....

Sounds good to me not gonna lie. Love these dudes till the bitter end
Still rockin!!! 2021 🤘
My heart beats in breakdowns 🤟🏻😎
Looked em up after seeing them drop that festival. I forgot about this song. What a banger
The intro of this song is so hype
the "lead singer" doesn't do much of the vocals xD
jaja que gonorrea
these guys kickd so much ass live.
Got that crowd movin :D

This song still smacks!
Great song!!
Catchy and kickass song.
@tapewom Since when does your looks make instruments sound different?
Kyyle Rittenhouse brought me here. Well...no one's gonna miss this band
Same..actually liked this song..but now, not so much.
@frshawn28 He did start a band. The band is called Casey Jones. Too bad they're breaking up if they haven't already.
No donnie, i dony know when they are making a new album.
@fatguyeatscheetos np =D and i know right? my fave show is bleach (obviously) although Hellsing is up there with Bleach nao... cant get enough of it!

@EmitAlonzo it doesn't matter, you should be happy as long as you find good music.
thats just this song. look at / listen to Wolfbiker. he does alot there
@ITSJORDANYAY Breakdowns can vary in style man, these guys were doing breakdowns long before Oceano...
Damn makes you jump tk fuking up when you cant jump the fuk up lol j was in my early teens early thirtys im still proude to be hardcore with battle scars!!!
its good thing they suck.... Don't worry Kyle the country has your back.
The country didn't convict him. As for having his back, well aside from Kyle the stage is going to be pretty empty and the crowd is pretty small.
Can't believe this only has 200 k views.....meanwhile Gangnam Style has 4 billion
thumbs up if u know who Page Hamilton is XD
Actually Chaney is the new guitarist they got before this album.
no.. it is hardcore.
A good example of Metalcore would be A7Xs first album
such a sick ass band, im so suprised they arent bigger.

😂
