      @@WHOTEEWHOquick question. I noticed the XT does not have an adjustable cheek pad. I have the cascade VH in 22-250 and if it didn’t have the adjustable cheek pad, I would not be able to see through the scope. Did you have any problems with that on the XT? Thanks!

    I found with my 6.5creed that the 140 eld-m and the 143 eld-x shot same POI. Was great to be able to shoot the match bullet at the range and take the hunting bullet to the stand. Seems the same thing happened here with the 143 and 147 offerings.

    The Tsx bullet is a full copper monalitic bullet. A harder bullet= usually not as accurate but has more penetrating and more open wound cavities on game compared to the two hornady lead core bullets that you used.

      Copper is a fickle beast, it doesn’t obturate like the lead core so it takes a perfect fit to get the same accuracy. There are a few coppers out now that seem to have got around it with new drive band designs but I’ve yet to try them myself.

    • @toddmiller8854
      @toddmiller8854 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jaydunbar7538 I have not reloading any copper bullets by hand so that maybe the trouble with Barnes. I have a friend that is all he shoots in 2506 it does great groups an he hand loads. I have shot 300rum in Hornady gmx that extremely accurate and the new cx in Hornady in a 7mm08 youth model that is .5 group. Only copper bullets I have ever tried has been when found deal on them just to get the brass.. I guess to have been more fair I should say I have no luck with Barnes factory loads.. but if I find deal on just the bullets I'll give them try hand loads.. I also should add that I use Barnes in my muzzleloader with great results
