the book from which it is based is called "three women" because it tells the story of these three women. The character of Shailene is not one of the three women but is the author of the book (Lisa Taddeo)
It comes out the day before my ex-husband's birthday who emotionally and psychologically abused me and who I kicked out when one of his best friend's told me she was worried he was going to hit me that day. They were both from physically abusive families and he watched his mom be beaten by his dad and he never stepped in to stop it happening to her so...I believed his friend. It's year four of the divorce. I can't wait to watch this series. We are more than our wounds - we are a sisterhood.
I won't miss this movie... Drama. Suspense. Action. Heartfelt All Rolled Into One Movie. Love It!!❤❤❤❤❤😊✌🏼✌🏼

Huh? 200,000 words? That's 2.5 times more words than the book this movie is based on. You trying to jump out the gate with Deathly Hallows or Fellowship of the Ring? Take it down a notch.

I agree with the LotR sentiment, but as far as self-publishing goes , her publisher may have the rights to it, so she couldn't.
@@jadefire2817 Yeah, maybe. Publishers are monsters, and if she didn't know what she was doing she could have been exploited and screwed over.
Seems like a stretch, though. Especially for a book written in the last five years. Most likely, if she was in an odd-ball situation where the publisher somehow had the rights to a book that wasn't finished, the rights would revert to her if the publisher didn't want to sell.
Suspension of disbelief only gets me so far, especially when there are no aliens or superheroes to contend with.
