Just installed mine yesterday on a 23 R/T. It’s definitely louder than stock, but not obnoxious. I would definitely not go with the street version. It’s probably not much louder than stock at all. When you install, make sure you put the X-pipe on like they recommend. The side with more of a bend goes on the drivers side. Plus don’t slide the pipes all the way up into each other. I did that and nothing would align. About 2 inches into each pipe and you’re good. Things like this should be included in the directions.

I have to apologize to mbrp exhaust about their exhaust system. Come to find out it was the left rear actuator that froze on me and therefore it is vehicle-related not exhaust pipe related. I'm happy that Mission Muffler took the time to go over everything again from the instructions from mbrp. therefore we were able to find the problem. I'm also very happy that I can keep this high performance exhaust system because it is awesome! My car runs like and sounds like a beast. The roar of a angry lion😎
Hey Multiscoffer , how was you able to fix your problem because i recently just installed these same exhaust and put the actuator the same way but i’m still getting a check engine light ? how did you fix it
@@dominiqueharris7759 well Dominique I must be honest with you that I wrote that reply way too soon. I'm not surprised that you're having check engine light problems because I tried everything kept getting the check engine light therefore would you believe I had to order a whole new exhaust system for my Dodge Challenger but it wholesale though cost me over 00 then with that and installation and had to get two new catalytic converters as well everything came to 484,600 all together wait a minute I take that back the labor calls 4600 end of the parts came to over 1600 so I spent close to $6,000 just to get this problem fixed so I would advise anyone not to buy that exhaust system it doesn't work it's kind of like a scam and I'm sure that they will be investigated and start giving people a refund I had to leave all that stuff behind what the dealership
@@MultiScoffer wow the check engine light didn’t come on until the next day after the installation. i drove it when i first install it , no check engine light but the next day it popped on.
Love the race exhaust on my challenger scatpack goes crazy when you want but puts a smile on your face each time you hear it!🥴had it on for a year and no issue great vid certainly confirmed my decision to buy!

I just installed MBRP Street version and concerned that I just restricted my exhaust flow. The reason I say this is the rear section of the X-Pipe has a 2.5”x4” section that slides into the muffler and you bolt onto the 3” section. The stock exhaust on my 392 is 2.75”. Why not cut off the necked down restriction since you are trying to increase flow. I did call and they told me it was engineered that way??? I will say that it does NOT seem to pull as hard on the big end now above 5,500rpm. Have you put a 392 on the dyno to check numbers? I can also say that on the SRT pages it is making less power now which is not what I was going for after spending $800 on exhaust and $150 for install.

My only question is this: Is the race version so loud that after a while its going to give you a Head Rattling Headache??? Iam torn between their "street version" and their "race version". Things "In Person" always sound different than on a 4" YOU TUBE" SPEAKER.
Just ordered this for my challenger 392 I wish it had the option to come with the carbon tips or 4 inch tips in the race version aluminized .

@@vincenttesoriero3614 when the mds is off, its got a decent vibration kind of drone. Can still have a conversation with someone while driving. Definitely worth the buy

@@vincenttesoriero3614 you'll love a cold start on it. Hell even a warm start. A warm start is louder than a cold start with the stock exhaust

I’m getting a check engine light from this exhaust a P1217 code which is active exhaust valve 1. Would be nice if you’d make a video that would show how the spring is supposed to sit, or an install video. Annoying thing is having the check engine light continuously turning on. You guys should address this problem because you have another person in this comment thread that purchased a new actuator and is still throwing a check engine light and that comment was posted a month ago with no answer.

Could you guys please do a demo showing how to position the exhaust actuator on your brand of exhaust pipes? I replace the faulty exhaust actuator but the check engine light still comes on. Thanks

@@OhanaVibes76 i went with the mbrp street series bro , bro it sounds soo good i get a lot of compliments. i installed the z automotive active exhaust delete to be on the safe side so when i installed the exhaust my active exhaust was already deleted so no check engine light. the z automotive still doing the job still this day i would recommend you get them.
Anyone knows how the MBRP (Race or Street) compare to mid Vibrant 1794 keeping rear mufflers?
The race would be very noticeably louder, the street would have a similar volume but slightly louder.
i had the Vibrant 1794's with stock rear resonators and switched to the MBRP street system on my 392. its similar to the vibrants but deeper and louder. No rasp but there is some drone in that 1800-2500 RPM range which was not there with the Vibrants, probably because MBRP has no rear resonators. All in all it sounds awesome and Im gonna try to use some sound deadening material like dynamat fpr the trunk hoping it cuts down on the drone

I just ordered 1 for my Scat Charger.
So I ended up cutting off the 2.5" ends on the x pipe and this thing roars... If you buy, you have to cut those restrictions off the x pipe or you're doing yourself a disservice.
Is it the fitting that connects after the x pipe or the x pipe itself?

I had a stock mid muffler and resonator delete on my 2023 RT
And then switched to this system.
The mbrp catback system has a much deeper tone. It’s slightly louder than my previous set up but the main thing is how much deeper it sounds. Personally I like the sound better vs the deletes but the deletes didn’t sound bad at all fwiw

Yes I have the race street version. There was a lot of raspy all throughout low and high rpm’s with the deletes. The mbrp race catback system doesn’t have any at the low and mid rpms and much less raspy in the high rpms
Some people prefer raspy vs deeper tone. So if you prefer raspy I’d suggest kids muffler and resonator deletes but if you want a deeper tone I’d suggest the mbrp race catback.
Is this an active exhaust?
Yes. It'll only sound crazy mad when you get on it. Idling still sounds good but isn't too too loud
It deletes the active exhaust with brackets. You connect the actuators but there are no valves.
Ive got a straight pipe rt. Drone in the cabin is unberable after a few years. Thinking this or the street version is gonna help me quiet it down

Just to confirm tho, the S71113CF pro series will fit a 2021 Shaker scat pack Challenger wide body? I’m double commenting again haha .. you can reply to just one of them.

In my opinion the race version! I had the race version and have spintech 9000 series mufflers on it as well. Therefore, I'm in constant "beast mode" in sport mode on my 2018 Dodge Challenger RT period but when I deactivate the sport mode then all I get is a tame, but mean growl that's very hypnotic, at least for me it is being that I'm an old school Hot Rodder 😎
Why does the X-pipe have 2.5 outlets?? I just received my cat back and the X pipe has a restricted outlet...Why? I plan on cutting them off to get before installing.

Keep the stock exhaust if you don’t want drone.
