    • @tregostudios
      @tregostudios  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The frequency knobs help you to choose what specific frequency you wish to alter. Usually that's in the mid section.
      You need to have a basic understanding of how sound is classified into different frequencies. That is when you can make accurate decisions with these knobs.

    what is the best volume for Gain , Comp, high Mid Low for dynamic microphone .
    even if your heating a highnotes theres no effect and sounds perfect . for example 12 oclock 1 oclock? can you give me hint for that?

    • @tregostudios
      @tregostudios  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no one size fits all. It will vary depending on the mixer you're using. Because preamp is responsible for the gain response. And different mixers uses different preamps. So you have to work with the capacity of your mixer.
      The easiest route is to watch out for the red lights. There's a clipping light beside the gain that suggests to you that your signal is clipping, always avoid that.

      Depending on the speaker. If it's a male speaker, you want it to have a little base, say 1'o clock. But if it begins to add too much of blasting at the plosives, reduce it.
      However when it's a bad singing, even if it's a male voice reduce the low to say 10' O clock cause that's where the muddiness in mixes come from.
      Females mostly do not require low ends so try and get rid of it to get a clean mix.
      Always look for what to remove in kids, rather than trying to add it. Usually you want to get rid of anything that affects the clarity of the voice:
      Muddiness around 400hz
      Honkiness around 500Hz - 1kHz
      You can remove up to 10' O Clock. Listen to hear the effects and adjust where necessary.
      The high frequency brings out the brightness and air in the voice. But when you notice it is exaggerating the sibilance, reduce it. When it sounds to harsh, it can easily fatigue the ears and they're quick to cause feedbacks.

    please, I want to ask. if i have a personal monitor mixer behringer p16 and i have an analog mixer but i do not have a direct out . So what should I do ? i have 2 aux only

    • @tregostudios
      @tregostudios  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello Peter, if your mixer doesn't have a direct out but you have an Insert I/O, then you can still get the job done if you have a Behringer p16-i
      (check this link www.behringer.com/series.html?category=R-BEHRINGER-POWERPLAYSERIES)
      All you have to do is to insert the jack cable into your mixer i/o half way so that it doesn't interrupt the flow of the signal to the main feed, and then connect the other end of the cable to your p16-i. Repeat this process for each of the channels you want to get across to the p16.
      Then you can go from your p16-i to your p16-m for monitoring.
      I hope this helps. Feel free to ask if you still don't understand.
