HA! finally a content creator who is coming around on go 2. teams. I started to play in july last year, when deliana was free, so i started right away with a nice HP based champion and after that obviously UDK changed the landscape too along with the emergence of bolster set, so i NEVER once had a speed tuned team, but every frickin video from any CC always preached about speed speed speed while i was going for EHP on almost everybody and bolster set quickly became my favorite set (say it with me) in the entire game. funny thing, my arena team evolved into skullcrown and magnarr as nukers with UDK as tank/healer and scyl for revives/heal and a little bit of CC, so pretty much what you proposed in this video. I also like to just stack the bolster shields, having it on all 4 champs, because even if i am mostly free2play, i bought that forge pass with bolster and since it was an early account, i could get far better gear by just forging it. so even skullcrown with her measly 30000HP has bolster on her, its not efficient, but man those stacked shields let me survive some hard hits. When i started with the game i never stopped climbing until i hit gold V and i am now at around 3600 points. edit: i recently got Kyoku and tried to use her instead of UDK but it was at best on the same level and at worst i took some hits while ally protect was still down and UDK was just better overall.
I'm in Gold 5 and My main arena team is a hybrid speed/go 2nd team. Cardiel, Seer, Ursala & Krisk. Cardiel in relentless with the speed lead coming in with his a2 cleanse, block debuffs & revive on death. Then Ursala in immunity with her A3 adding strengthen/defense buffs (or reviving if I get nuked). Krisk in stalwart with his A3 provoking adding more buffs. (Usually the other team attacks krisk here dropping their defense) Then Seer finishes them with Karma Burn. I have a "No Fear" team with Shamael in place of seer vs. Ma'Shalled and Madame Seris teams. Get pretty good results! All Voids too so no weak hits - and I'm working on maxing out my Void great hall to further their win rate.
my current go second arena team is merischka, cardel,mighty ukko and happhrak and i just love it! merischka is an absolute beast in hydra as well and with gnishank the two of them do so good in CB. i put her in relentless so she can get that A1 in more and tag in cardel and a dps pretty often and she keeps that heal and shield up constantly
Dad to dad that is so true about kids. Before I had them I was like ew no thanks but I have 3 daughters now, my oldest being 10. It's amazing to see the differences in each child. And it's such a proud feeling seeing them accomplish something - let alone something rather difficult for a child like Chess. Way to go Ash.
Sandlashed survivor is really good for go-second teams. So is seeker, for people that don't have these lego champs. Vogoth + UDK is a really decent combo too.
The speed meta was basically replaced by more and more RNG. The progression has been Swift parry, reaction, stone skin, polymorph, it's basically a growing series of coin flips. I wasn't a fan of speed being the end all be all but I'm not a fan of battles being decided by RNG either.
Polymorph being important is just awful for longevity of the game. A specific blessing shouldn't be meta, I think there should be multiple valuable blessings. Lightning cage, polymorph, brimstone seem like the be all
@@TheHexpane and the fact that polymorph is the only blessing that interacts directly with a mastery, fearsome presence ups it's chance to activate. Several questionable decisions by Plarium for the Arena.

They are super stoked and wide eyed about being parents now, so it was cool to hear you talk about your son and how mind blowing that relationship can be I can only imagine. Great vid, especially the split between end game & F2P lowbie team. Most of all though, what will help the majority of players no matter what stage they are at is the explanation of WHAT you need in a go second team, not WHO you need. Too many times vids are tagged as "How to do this" and when you watch it's reliant on one or two particualr champs that most players might not have lol.
I really like using UDK and Tayrel, with UDK faster, since if his decrease atk lands and Tayrel drops their defense he puts them to sleep, nice little combo. Also, awesome job teaching your son chess. That is great!
Interesting. These two champs are what I have currently as a free to play, and struggling. I have a new set of Instinct with high HP and Def % and considering a change from his 4* defiant/toxic set. You have any basic advice as I get these two to 60? I take it your taking Tayrel and UDK to 60 full?

I learned Chess much later in life (12 or I guss) and today I understand how rare it is to have the patience. So if your son got the patience to do that and is kinda good at it he is an inteligent guy I guess. Most people (not only children) have the attention span of a fly, turns me off every time when it comes to women for example. You have all the right to be proud man!

People are starting new accounts and IMMEDIATELY farming resist gear at golem and placing their supports, tanks and even their starters trying to get a lot of resistances. The early Arena halls go straight into resist, enemies being unable to land debuffs on anyone in any stages of the game and modes has been paying off well. Early accounts having to deal with the usual Warmaiden debuff - nuking combo, having that break since nobody really stacks res or accuracy early has been quite a new way of doing things, denying Warmaiden from her debuff then watching the nuker do wet noodle damage for a go second team it's amazing. Arenas, early CB to resist the stun, campaigns, and eventually doom tower. This game certainly can be approached in many ways it's crazy.
I focused on RES in my great hall first and it really paid off. Plus it helps raise my player power which got me into better clans so better rewards in cvc, clan shop & more success with Clan Boss.
I love my go second team, I have it built with brogni and vogoth being the key components, vogoth has bolster set and brognis passive nukes their nuker as vogoth heals everyone back up. Letting Rakka remove debufs and staltus to finish them off.
Marishka is probably the best pull ive ever had since starting in 2021. Last night, adding her as my Hydra normal speed lead, netted me a cool 93 Million damage. She is just outstanding.
Some rare options for go second "brawler" teams: Seducer Valerie Templar Veteran Gnarlhorn Mycolus Justiciar Furystoker Bellower Painkeeper Master butcher Mystic hand RockBeast Guardian Daywalker Metalshaper Shieldguard as uncommon is even still worth maxing in 2023 on new accounts (imo)
I use either Arbiter, Tormin, Nekhret and a nuker (inithwe, rotos or shaemel) normally. I then just pick my fights, and generally win most battles. If my arbiter goes first great, if not tormin will usually bring them to a crashing halt Against blender teams I bring in Sandlashed, rotos, tormin and seeker
I am using an hybrid (Arbiter/Madame/Tormin (in case)/Hurndig or Candy). It's really a fun one! Wish to build more for TTA but lack the good knowledge.
Love the videos! I was lucky enough to pull Marichka and Taras so they form my go second team along with Elva and Madam. They help me stay relevant in my tier. Especially since I don't have the champs to build a true speed team.

Bro I just pulled her this last 2x voids I've been playing for two and a half years finally got my void legendary 😭 I was so happy to see it was Marichka changed my clan boss team my arena team and literally all my teams 💪 watching her passive in action in clan boss was so cool she's so fricken insane 🗿
Hey Ash i have her at 212 speed in tanky Frenzy. If i loose the speed race she usually cuts the other team with her heal, shield and strengthen. Try her in frenzy i dont want to ruin how amazing she is in that set. I have her lvl 50 and she is pushing ice golem 24 right now.
I’ve been running a go second team since I got my Duchess to pair with my Candraphon. Then I added Mithrala but recently got Cardiel so I added him cuz he’s great but also to show off haha.

I'm finally getting into plat this week and last after building a go 2nd team for my offense and defense. It's not a perfect team, and not tuned, but working well.
Yes i have motuu and dutchess oella and UDK. And sometimes its takes forener to kills The other team. But most cases. It because there is no AOE attackers
It would be fun to pair her in the lead slot with Godseeker on the team. also, wouldn't a high acc Seer be really good for that kind of arena with so many buffs?
You can't put Marichka 1st like you said in the video you might do...because in order for her to "revive everyone" if everyone dies at the same time...she has to be last in order rotation correct...won't she only revive Champs infront of her in Death order...like Vogoth's healing works? @ASH: Raid Shadow Legends

I faced a Marichka team not paying attention to her skillset. She was the last one standing and I thought I got a win for a second win I killed her until the other 3 champs revived. I thought wtf until I remembered vaguely about her passive before getting wiped out.
Is it okay that ultimate dk of mine is in regen and resilience set, the regen set is the artifacts from the login day 1 to day 7 artifacts with two epics and two legendary as well that is 6*
Honestly Regen is decent if you don't die in one shot. So, if you build him in Regen for arena you better have insane HP/def and a support that heal him

Man, I play this game every day. It's terrible that it's so Play-to-Win, I can't even catch up. One week I go F it, I just want to see what happens if I throw some cash($1500) at this game. It was a good week, they were just throwing crazy amounts of voids and sacred shards at my account on sale. I barely got anything worth a mention right now. Got a couple of free voids from Clan boss and got a Leorius and madame seres🤦🏽

He is a decent nuker for the arena but can't really do more than that.. If you are new, keep focussing on your startet and good support champions to get you far in Clanboss and dungeons, once you got a good grasp on that (and like 4-6 lvl 60 champions) you can revisit him with your newfound knowledge

Kyoku should replace your nuker , she's amazing

I pulled Merichka about a week ago and she is so amazing in everything..
I have used Mortu on offense before and it's really satisfying when he pops someone, but he's mostly a defense champ for me
I somehow pulled tauras a few shards after i pulled Marichka, and they pretty much beat the game together.

I built her in Bolster too, but protection for the other two pieces. 20 Resist and 15% HP

I started playing because of the UDK ads, but actually was too late! So frustrating when I lose to him in arena!

Honestly Regen is decent if you don't die in one shot. So, if you build him in Regen for arena you better have insane HP/def and a support that heal him

My team is not built to go second but it does because I am no where fast enough and usually just owned before I do anything.

Man, I play this game every day. It's terrible that it's so Play-to-Win, I can't even catch up. One week I go F it, I just want to see what happens if I throw some cash($1500) at this game. It was a good week, they were just throwing crazy amounts of voids and sacred shards at my account on sale. I barely got anything worth a mention right now. He is a decent nuker for the arena but can't really do more than that.. If you are new, keep focussing on your startet and good support champions to get you far in Clanboss and dungeons, once you got a good grasp on that (and like 4-6 lvl 60 champions) you can revisit him with your newfound knowledge
