Got 4 friends at start 2 weeks ago, only 1 is still playing. There’s so much for new players to learn now, it’s too much for some people.
Yeah. I have been playing a couple weeks now. I know I will get the learning part down eventually. The part I worry about is how stingy and unfriendly the game is so that it will quickly become more frustrating than fun soon and I'll just stop playing.
I have been patient and got over half the champions in around a year.

Watched the whole thing even as a veteran, well almost retired from the game.
I really appreciated you giving the new players the heads up that f2p is a viable option!!
However, I do know that Raid as many other gotcha games are knowingly building up addiction (see the owning company of Raid is a casino business),
more specifically gambling addiction in players.
- Once you are hooked its just one step becoming a little fish.
- Next step is much easier, basically your wallet will set you on the dose level of the "poison".
Well that is one way of becoming a big spender.
Another aspect is the feeling of financial investment. Once you payed out a 100 bucks (I think that could be the average mental limit), you will feel compelled to keep on playing, because you dont want to "loose your investment".
I mean.... dont get me wrong, I do enjoy many parts of the game and I think we could even look at it as a complex strategy game and I do like the puzzle of it, so my harshness may sounds a tad strange, but I think it is important to notice the predatory behaviour/business structure.
You know... I speak as a polytoxicoman person and it makes me angry to see people exploiting addiction.. ofc at the same time its everyones' own decision and mental strenght to be able to say no... I guess my very short :) comment's core message boils down to a simple idea :
Allow everyone the decision to be addicted or not, or just enjoy, BUT when you enter a highly addictive game it should be mandatory to give a clear heads up so you know what you are getting into!!! from that point on its the work of the addict to handle it.

My BIG problem is knowing what artifacts to put on my champions - I've been following the recommended ones but notice you don't. Do you have a video on this please? One crucial thing that you might have forgot to mention that, the energy requirements for all that grinding is one the biggest gatekeepers in this game.
If people haven't spend some dimes in this game or haven't hoarded some amount of energy, the farming in this game goes from manageable to beyond ridiculous.

Been playing for 8 days so definitely learning the game. It's definitely a clone of summoners war so I play Raid like summoners war. I forgot how much of a grind it can be for your first 6 star. Trying to decide who to 6 star first, Saurus, Kael, or Ronda. Probably go Kael but Ronda is a fun character. Saurus farms 12-3 hard for me at lvl 50 but will need better runes and that must wait.

Why are the promo codes not working on iOS right now? Also, as a new player, TY. This was pretty comprehensive. It's very hard to level up heroes in this game compared to games like AFK Arena so I was glad to find this video.

Wish I'd watched a beginners guide like this when I started, would've saved me a lot of time & resources 🤣. I wouldn't have wasted leggo books on non-leggo champs, and would have focussed more on getting my first champ to 60 (and would have chosen Kael lol). I'm almost at 300 days but really would've been further progressed than I am with a guide like this. I jumped straight in though and muddled my way along until hitting things I had to look up (still had fun but was a very slow grind). Have fun, take Ash's advice from the video but above all, play the way that feels good for you & don't compare your account to others (never ends well lol). While skill does play a part in the game, the majority of your account will be based around luck of the draw, so don't put pressure on yourself 👍

I would also start recommending Elhain as starter aside of Kael.
Get an easy Monk if you need a poisoner and try to get a full stun set for her. She'll certainly work marvels in many areas of the game as an early controller which is veeeeery hard to find early on.
If you need a campaign farmer honestly Shieldguard will do.
That's three mid heroes you have to build and gear. With kael, you essentially have CB, Arena, campaign and clan boss covered. And you can put all your resources in him and make him very strong including buying your first masteries. By the time you're doing brutal 12-3 to farm more fodder, you'll have some decent Champs you've pulled or farmed from campaign.

Thanks for the guidance. It definitely is a lot to take in, even with them adding things as you level up.
There is one term that I have noticed the gaming community use that I couldn't quite get my head around: FARMING. This term being used when you go to the dungeons to get artifacts doesn't fit. Having been raised on a farm, FARMING is growing something you already know what you are going to get, like training your champions. You have the commons as fertilizer to level up the champions, who you know what they are going to grow and develop to be, just like FARMING.
The dungeons are straight up FISHING. You know what fish/artifacts are in the lake/dungeon, but you never know what you are going to get. Sometimes you get one too small that you throw back or sell. But it is always a surprise.

What is funny is that I 3D model Game Characters, and am studying UE5. I play an old game called Disciples 2, and it is similar to this without the 30 ways to advance or upgrade.
I think it would be cool to combine elements of both games. I might dink around with it sometime. I a really busy making 3D printed Star Trek models and archery bows at the moment.

Hey man I’m pretty new to the game I've had it on my phone for a long time but never really got into it but i want to ask something. I have ultimate deathknight and ronda both of them the legendary champions from the times when they were free and i want to know if I could level one of them up to 6 stars instead of my starting hero I got which is Athel and I just want to know if maxing out U deathknight would be a better choice than my starter since I have him at 5 stars ascended.

Question for anyone
When using artifact sets such as stun or provoke, do they trigger once per attack or once per hit? For instance my Rhazin is in a provoke set, when hitting with his A1 does the artifact set trigger once or three times?
Once per attack. Wish it was once per hit

Same applies to champ skills. Unless it specifically states 'per hit' whatver the effect is, it only has one chance to activate per skill use.
Watch a lot of vids but whar means damage based on attack or defence etc?
For example does damage based on attack means that the character can be build as damage dealer or does it make more damage?
Because im bit confused about that.

Hi, I was wondering if you could make a ranking of all game modes/dungeons in terms of rewards/importance (you could do a ranking for midgame and one for end game if they are different). For example, should I prioritize my classic Arena team over my Iron Twins team ? My Tag Team arena over my Dragon team ? My Spider team over my Faction Wars progression ? My Doom Tower over my Ice Golem team ? I think that's just as useful as champion rankings we can see everywhere, but it's the kind of information I never saw.
Early Game - #1 Dragon - Speed, Lifesteal, Accuracy. #2 Minotaur. distant 3rd Spider. just high enough to get accuracy banners for clan boss. Nothing else matters early game because you absolutely must be able to do Clan Boss effectively to advance anywhere else. Doom tower, Twins, are mid game. Tag team is a trap. You only need 1 Arena nuker and it's not a priority. High Khatun, Kael, Warmaiden, Anyone else is your starter arena team . Your tag 2nd and 3rd are low priority until mid game.
@@TheHexpane Thanks for the reply ! Sorry, I forgot to mention that I think I'm slightly past early game (this video guide covers early game really well). I started almost 4 months ago. I have maybe a weird champion leveling startegy.
After 4 months, I only upgraded 13 champions (2 rares, 9 epics, 2 legendaries), because I don't want to invest and regret it later. I guess it's less than average. I'm clearing Brutal CB with my clan. Stage 20 of Dragon and Ice Golem, 16 FK, 14 Spider, 5 Iron Twins. Obviously I don't go far in Faction Wars (between level 0 and 12/13, I have 148 stars). In Doom Tower, I'm stuck as soon as I reach the Nether Spider (even at floor 20) or Dark Fae. In arena I'm in Gold 1 (I have to select my fights and not auto, making this game mode extremely time consuming).
This is why I'm asking. Beginner's guide don't really help me anymore, but I can still progress in all areas of the game, and I wonder where it's the most impactful. From your answer, it seems Clan Boss is the most important ?
@@Vulmio Absolutely Clan Boss until you can 2-4 Key NM. You want to speed tune your CB using Deadwoodjedi and have a specific type of team. Unkillable/Block damage is the easiest team IF you have the champs. If no UK or BLK DMG, a "fast team" or a 4:3 high defense team can work on NM, but need high defense/HP. Is your CB speed tuned? You can still hit NM w/ a non-tuned team but it's way better to use a comp from Deadwood jedi. Someone w/ block debuffs or an ally protect. I have an alt that can 3 key NM using a non-speed tuned team just using basic FTP champs by focusing all the Speed/DEF/Acc gear on those 5 champs. What are your 6* champs right now?

UDK (187 speed, warmaster, 12/13 books, Brimstone 1)
Ronda (arena build helmsmasher, 153 speed, no book, Lightning Cage 1)
Urogrim (160 speed, warmaster, 14/16 books, Chainbreaker 3)
Geomancer (145 speed, warmaster, full book, Chainbreaker 2)
Lightsworn (165 speed, Giantslayer, full book, Commanding Presence 1)
Chancellor Yasmin (175 speed, warmaster, no book, Commanding Presence 1)
Myciliac Priest Orn (116 speed, warmaster, no book, faultless defense 1)
Fahrakin the Fat (arena build, Timely Intervention, 207 speed, 9/15 books, Chainbreaker 1)
Sandlashed Survivor (138 speed, warmaster, no book)
Pain Keeper (183 speed, warmaster, full book, Phantom Touch)

I don't have Apothecary, Coldheart, Hellmut, Deacon, Demytha, Maneater, Seeker.
My current CB team is : Geomancer, Painkeeper, Orn, Urogrim and Fahrakin (used UDK instead before, for the same results). I can 2 key brutal and do around 7-9 mil dmg per key on NM.
@@Vulmio Pain Keeper is the first one I would take out, she's for Unkillable teams only. With Geomancer and Fahrakin, get them both to 3500+ defense, full lifesteal . Those 2 need full books full masteries, best gear and that's your core to get NM 2-3 keey.
Hotatsu is good for CB w/ leech you an eventually drop lifesteal. Make Hotatsu and Sandlash the next 2 priorities. Quargan I wouldnt level at all. Urogrim only works with books. He's fine as a poisoner but he's more of a dungeon solo champ. UDK needs to go back on the team only because of Brimstone, that's 250k extra dmg. Sandlashed needs to be 175 speed, get her masteries, she can hop in the CB team.

How would you put an early to mid game 5-team together (F2P) who can do a bit of everything? (Clan Boss, Arena, Campaign etc) a jack of all trades master of none team?
I still have 2x XP on my account. I've had it since I started the account from different bonuses and awards.
Since the start I've been buying mystic shards for 5k in the shop whenever they were there. I usually get way more silver than I need(now at 8 level 60's with near maxed gear except for better RNG stats)
I think I might pump the breaks on buying mystic shards a bit when my 2x XP runs out. I don't need to focus as much on levelling champions then, more on gear.
what if you pull awesome legendary nuker early, who farms hard solo and early brutal at 50(+3 food) without books (rather than 2 booked rares at 50-ies+ 2food) way better than your starter? would you prefer ranking starter to 60 first and waste tons of time leveling other champs?

Ahoi. After years of Adds i wanna give this Game a try but can someone please Tell me How big the Game is on phone? How many GB? Azur Lane with 12GB and Arknights with 7GB Are so big. I Hope Raid is smaller
Hearing you explain everything out really makes it apparent how many little features they have to gouge out all the $ they can. It’s crazy
Players are over whelmed with new champions ,would be nice to have a video on how to keep organized. Which ones to stay in main inventory or put in vault or reserve vault. How to keep the ones for fusion and faction wars separated and stored, also who to keep and use for fraction wars.

Vault*
you go on hell hades and check which are good, for rares keep bellower(void) painkeeper(void) coldheart(void) renegade(void) fellhound(void) gnarlkeeper(spirit) frozen banshee(magic) and Kael your starter
and since those are the only rares you care about, keep 5 other rare pairs from their faction (10 champions) so keep any dark elf rares until you fill that faction, this will help with Coldheart, Kael, and Painkeeper
you don't need to keep any demonspawn rares for fellhound until you actually get him, since you can easily farm and you get a crap tonne of hound spawn and diabolist from stage 12
bellower and gnarlkeeper I'd say you basically just keep vaulted until late in the game when you're worried about pushing either faction wars, or clearing doom tower rooms that require rares only(sometimes from a specific affinity)
epics you keep all epics because of guardian pairing, until you fill out that specific faction, same with legendary but also legendaries are the most likely champions to get buffed, so the legendary could become godlike unlike epic champs which will probably stay the same.
and if you want, check hell hades whenever a new champ comes in and update this/your list
why are you even asking "how to keep the ones for fusion and faction wars separated and stored" bruh. do that however you want, you shouldn't need a person telling you how to organize them, organize them how you want. there's literally only two options, vault and reserve vault

I used to play this casually I want to come back and start taking it more seriously and I have some legendary character and a few with some gear on them but I don’t know who’s good or what’s the best plan of action to get back on track
