As a Muslim, I started praying Tahajud and asking God for what I want and at the same time working towards my goals .. it takes time but Inshallah it will come true.

@Leaguixxx honestly I wouldn't try to look into religions at first because religion tells you who God is but you need to find out for yourself who he is. Going into nature for me works well or looking out the window in silence works for me. Other people connects with him in music or any other kind of art. Some might find him in meditation. Try these things first.

My favorite thing about her is that she obviously reads and educates herself (I'm a psychologist, a lot of what she says is just basic psychology, it's true stuff) and then she manages to say complex stuff in a simple way, with simple relatabe examples. Thats a skill! :)

So true..Took me so many years to reallise my parents were people pleasers their whole life, and they made me the biggest people pleaser I have known my entire life...Its heartbreaking to say this out loud..but this is the reality...And I need to change this reality so that I can protect my parents..so that I can make them happy, even if it means not being the IDEAL CHILD that they dreamed of me.
I really feel that way.. I want to make my own decisions and not be dependent on my parents, maybe I'm afraid that I might disappoint them or that they will start to despise me? :_)

One thing that I've realized is that there are many things that we do not have control over , but the one thing that I absolutely have control over with 0 doubt , is my Mind , and my Thoughts . When I commit to certain thoughts , I Naturally start to take inspired actions in the direction of those thoughts , and everything starts to come together , I also have stronger boundaries naturally because my self - image starts to shape around what I am thinking . @@chickenbroth5 honestly it’s just a personal choice thing. I know what kind of lifestyle I want and the only way to get it is if I have the $ for it so I need to be ambitious. But of course if that’s not what you want it’s totally okay. Just do you. :) I think it’s also important to know that happiness comes from within so while I’ll love to live the lifestyle I want (which is to just live comfortably and be able to support my parents + children if I decide to have them) I’m still very grateful for what I have right now.
I’m a Christian and I didn’t put much energy into my relationship with god for a long time. Then I was in a relationship that didn’t make me happy and I remembered everything that Liz told us in her videos so I was thinking about leaving him. But the decision was difficult so I asked god to tell me what to do since I believe that he knows what’s best for me. Literally the next day my TH-cam recommendations were full of videos with the message that we sometimes have to let go of things to receive something better. That was the first time ever that I desperately wanted an answer from god and he’d didn’t let me down. I also startet noticing how I felt more uncomfortable about the thought of staying in that relationship than leaving. And now I’m way happier and healthier than before. I still miss him but that’s part of the journey. It’s fine because I know I did the right thing. Guys, listen to the small and big signs you notice and listen to your gut because it knows. Also, don’t stay with someone because you think you owe it to them. You don’t.

i notice i’ve been a lot kinder to myself and thus happier around others since watching content like liz’s. i have relatives saying i should drop psychology for chemistry, but i know myself better and this is what i want for my college major. others critiques that are well intended but not in my best interest is not something i need to worry about fitting into. i stopped feeling so helpless in what i can control-my mindset toward myself. anyone can do anything they set their mind to, because that’s the greatest step toward achieving it. happy spring, lovelies!
@AL-qj9yh i feel in some ways, people have it easier, but also your mindset is what counts. if you are of the belief you can’t do something, you’ll refuse to try. her videos are for people who actually have the resources to do better for themselves if they try hard enough, not people living in desolate war zones w/ zero time to think of anything but basic survival. anyone who has it less than 1000x harder should be grateful they have the chance to improve themselves if they stop w/ learned helplessness and are more practical about life. you should also have realistic goals. a poor working class person won’t be a billionaire in a singular day. having basic self esteem and motivation in your efforts is not a bad thing, it’s a life skill many people lack. i feel it’s not my place to say if she’s “deserving” of her money depending on whether i agree w/ her views or not. She hasn’t stolen it from anyone, she made it herself and therefore she deserves exactly what she puts into her work. i don’t see how actually having the right attitude about what you want to achieve is harmful.

I was so happy when Liz said shes Muslim. I know that so many muslims are bullied for their religion and its honestly so sad. I always try to hide that im muslim bc of it, but when she mentioned she was muslim it really made me feel more comfortable in my own religion 💗💞

I just started watching this channel yesterday and I already feel more in control of my life. I realize these sudden boosts of motivation don't last, but I definitely feel more confident in my abilities after watching these videos and hopefully I'll start making changes that my future self will thank me for. I've felt nothing but disappointment thinking about my past self and it's such a bad feeling that I don't want to experience anymore. I want good grades, a body I'll be comfortable in, and a style that represents me. I actually got up, cleaned my room, stuck to my calorie deficit and worked hard today which is something I never have motivation to do and I can say with confidence that you're SO much better than all the other influencers who have no effect on me whatsoever. I also think it's cool that your vids apply to everyone. I'm not religious at all, but I think if you find peace in your religion and the god you believe in prayer can be powerful. I don't exactly fit in with most of the people commenting; I'm not striving to be an "it girl", I'm agnostic, I'm very androgynous etc. but I still find everything you say very helpful despite being very different from you and a large portion of your audience.

Going into nature for me works well or looking out the window in silence works for me. Other people connects with him in music or any other kind of art. Some might find him in meditation. Try these things first.

One thing that I've realized is that there are many things that we do not have control over , but the one thing that I absolutely have control over with 0 doubt , is my Mind , and my Thoughts . When I commit to certain thoughts , I Naturally start to take inspired actions in the direction of those thoughts , and everything starts to come together , I also have stronger boundaries naturally because my self - image starts to shape around what I am thinking . You might not read this, but I just want to say thank you. Back in December I wanted to start changing my reality and be a better student. While we don’t have the same childhood, I hope you know that you have still impacted me greatly. I look up to you and I genuinely thank God for sending me you when I needed help. @@chickenbroth5 honestly it’s just a personal choice thing. I know what kind of lifestyle I want and the only way to get it is if I have the $ for it so I need to be ambitious. But of course if that’s not what you want it’s totally okay. Just do you. :) I think it’s also important to know that happiness comes from within so while I’ll love to live the lifestyle I want (which is to just live comfortably and be able to support my parents + children if I decide to have them) I’m still very grateful for what I have right now.
I’m a Christian and I didn’t put much energy into my relationship with god for a long time. Then I was in a relationship that didn’t make me happy and I remembered everything that Liz told us in her videos so I was thinking about leaving him. But the decision was difficult so I asked god to tell me what to do since I believe that he knows what’s best for me. Literally the next day my TH-cam recommendations were full of videos with the message that we sometimes have to let go of things to receive something better. That was the first time ever that I desperately wanted an answer from god and he’d didn’t let me down. I also startet noticing how I felt more uncomfortable about the thought of staying in that relationship than leaving. And now I’m way happier and healthier than before. I still miss him but that’s part of the journey. It’s fine because I know I did the right thing.
Guys, listen to the small and big signs you notice and listen to your gut because it knows. Also, don’t stay with someone because you think you owe it to them. You don’t.

i notice i’ve been a lot kinder to myself and thus happier around others since watching content like liz’s. i have relatives saying i should drop psychology for chemistry, but i know myself better and this is what i want for my college major. others critiques that are well intended but not in my best interest is not something i need to worry about fitting into. i stopped feeling so helpless in what i can control-my mindset toward myself. anyone can do anything they set their mind to, because that’s the greatest step toward achieving it. happy spring, lovelies!
@AL-qj9yh i feel in some ways, people have it easier, but also your mindset is what counts. if you are of the belief you can’t do something, you’ll refuse to try. her videos are for people who actually have the resources to do better for themselves if they try hard enough, not people living in desolate war zones w/ zero time to think of anything but basic survival. anyone who has it less than 1000x harder should be grateful they have the chance to improve themselves if they stop w/ learned helplessness and are more practical about life. you should also have realistic goals. a poor working class person won’t be a billionaire in a singular day.
having basic self esteem and motivation in your efforts is not a bad thing, it’s a life skill many people lack. i feel it’s not my place to say if she’s “deserving” of her money depending on whether i agree w/ her views or not. She hasn’t stolen it from anyone, she made it herself and therefore she deserves exactly what she puts into her work. i don’t see how actually having the right attitude about what you want to achieve is harmful.

I just started watching this channel yesterday and I already feel more in control of my life. I realize these sudden boosts of motivation don't last, but I definitely feel more confident in my abilities after watching these videos and hopefully I'll start making changes that my future self will thank me for. I've felt nothing but disappointment thinking about my past self and it's such a bad feeling that I don't want to experience anymore. I want good grades, a body I'll be comfortable in, and a style that represents me. I actually got up, cleaned my room, stuck to my calorie deficit and worked hard today which is something I never have motivation to do and I can say with confidence that you're SO much better than all the other influencers who have no effect on me whatsoever.
I also think it's cool that your vids apply to everyone. I'm not religious at all, but I think if you find peace in your religion and the god you believe in prayer can be powerful. I don't exactly fit in with most of the people commenting; I'm not striving to be an "it girl", I'm agnostic, I'm very androgynous etc. but I still find everything you say very helpful despite being very different from you and a large portion of your audience.

I always cry with your videos. The way you speak without even trying to be soft with your words but saying the truth directly it's so inspiring and always moves something inside of me. I truly believe that I will achieve the life of my dreams, even if I'm not totally sure how it looks like. Even if I am feeling stuck in the middle of nowhere right now.
