Crochet Granny Square HEARTS

Crochet four granny square heart ms with me! This tutorial features four different sizes of hearts using a simple granny square pattern.

Hearts (Four Sizes) Pattern:
Crochet Hook: G/6/4.25MM
Yarn: Size 4, Medium Weight
Heart 1:
Row 1:
MC - CH 1, 8 SC inside MC. SL st 1st SC to join.
Row 2:
2 SC next 3 st.
1 DC + 1 TR + 1 DC next st.
2 SC next 3 st.
1 SL st BLO next st.
Row 3:
1 SC + 1 HDC next st.
3 DC next 2 st.
1 HDC next st.
1 SC next 3 st.
1 SC + 1 DC + 1 SC next st.
1 SC next 3 st.
1 HDC next st.
3 DC next 2 st.
1 HDC + 1 SC next st.
1 SL FLO from Row 2.
Cut and tie off yarn, or continue with Row 4 if making larger heart.
Heart 2 (add Row 4).
Row 4:
1 SC + 1 HDC next st.
2 DC next st.
3 DC next 2 st.
2 DC next 3 st.
1 DC next 6 st.
1 DC+ + 1 TR + 1 DC next st.
1 DC next 6 st.
2 DC next 3 st
3 DC next 2 st.
2 DC next st.
1 HDC + 1 SC next st.
SL st next st (or BLO if continuing for next size Heart).
Cut and tie off yarn.
Heart 3 (add Row 5):
1 SC next 2 st.
1 HDC next 2 st.
2 DC next 7 st.
1 DC next 12 st.
1 DC + 1 TR + 1 DC next st.
1 DC next 12 st.
2 DC next 7 st.
1 HDC next 2 st.
1 SC next 2 st.
1 SL st in FLO left over from Row 3.
Cut and tie off yarn, or keep on crochet hook to make next heart.
Heart 4 (add Row 6):
1 SL st next 3 st.
1 SC next st.
1 HDC next st.
1 DC next st.
2 DC next 7 st.
1 DC next 18 st.
1 DC + 1 TR + 1 DC next st.
1 DC next 18 st.
2 DC next 7 st.

1 SL st next 4 st.
Cut and tie off yarn.
