@@TomJay-w6h this tank is designed to work without it. I.e., won’t work with it. My understanding is they built it tough enough that the skid plate wasn’t necessary. Anything that could damage it would damage the skid plate as well. Personally I never saw myself getting into that extreme of a situation anyway.
I figured out late last night/early morning youre gonna hate that filer when/ if you need a new lift pump or put an airdog or fass on it (i prefer airdog) Edit: P.S. you’re supposed to cycle the key on 6 times @ 30 seconds each to bleed air 👍
Did the section in the front that wraps around the filter have a strap? Had one installed on our 22 and you can move that section side to side and up down a little.
Is there a specific reason you didn’t put the skid plate back?

What ratchet lift is that?
@@munchra48 it’s the harbor freight transmission jack with a 1/2” drive socket wrench
Do they make one for a 2021 F-350 7.3 gasser ?
Doesn’t appear so, I would contact them though. Very helpful and responsive folks over there.

Yes it has a strap, it does not move at all.
Are you going to adjust the fuel gauge?
