- For sale! According to previous owner and general condition the 49572 miles is the original mileage. Runs and drives great for a 66 year old unrestored car. Very minimal and non structural rust (shown in video)
I enjoyed seeing a car of this age being driven in the rain, as it would have when newer. Most restorations never get to be normal again.
Sweet old girl. She needs a little TLC and be kept in a garage when she's not being driven. 👍😊
Boy, that 251 6cyl sure does sound sweet! Very nice original car, & the Fulton visor gives it that extra "Flashiness"!

My first car in 1975 was one of these. What a great car. Slip-o-matic trans. & the old timers called the seats mole-hair.

Very nice. I had a 48 Dodge very similar to this car. It sloped down like a fastback and it started when you turned the key and pressed the pedal next to the gas pedal. Fluid drive was a great feature, you could shift manually or just leave it in third and use the gas or brake pedal like an automatic. It was my first car. TFS

Hey, cool to see you here! I just bought two 46-48 Chryslers. I'm not sure if they are fluid drive, I didn't look very close. They are sitting in a scrap yard and my priorities were set on getting them out of there...
@@SuperKONR It was a great car. I had it before I even got my license. I wish I had that car today. The New Jersey Turnpike was going to condemn my dad's farm to put in a spur for the TP but they never built the road. My dad sold the farm to them and all our parts cars and field cars had to be removed. Sadly my brother junked my car without my consent. Oh well but I look forward to your new acquisitions. I have the same car, but im having a problem locating the fuse box, if you would be so kind can you point out where it is located, because I’ve stripped almost everything off the car and rebuilt it, and still have failed to locate the fuse box, and there are no indications in the manual showing where the fuse box is placed at. Thank you in advance.
They didn't have one . Typically they were an option even into the late 50s

Stephanie Dixon : Not bad looking for a seventy-five year old car. However, I do suggest and recommend you stop by a gas station and fill up your gas tank. You might be able to go a little farther.

THIS CAR MAYBE ORIGINAL BUT IS WAY PAST RESTORATION RUST ALL OVER ICLUDING THE TRUNK FLOOR AND DOORS; QUARTER PANELS . IT WOULD NEED A COMPLETE FRAME OFF TO MAKE IT RIGHT. A COST THAT WOULD BE ASTRONOMICAL IN RELATION TO ITS VALUE. UNLESS YOU ARE ABLE TO DO MOST OF IT YOURSELF AND GET USED PARTS IF AVAILABLE??
