It was such a powerful talk with many references beyond the main topic -- although the insights here in are so profound. Elder Packer is a Latter-day seer, and when he speaks of times of trouble in the world and even challenges in the Church, it is a time for faith, not fear. Beautiful lessons and timely for today!

I love the sobering talk received here🥰 Bro. Packard spoke "from the dust" to us living in 2022!
I have a feeling we're somewhere in the time of Tribulation, and had BETTER pick a side, cross our Ts, dot our Is, and FOCUS on our Covenants REGARDLESS of the voices around us... no matter HOW CLOSE those voices may be

Re: 17:56-18:04, patriarchs are now ordained by the Stake President. See section 6.6.1 of the General Handbook or "The Stake Patriarch" (Boyd K. Packer, October 2002).
