Heh heh, you don't know how many times I've watched this.... I think the "subtle" differences I have made with mine have been the root of all my stake problems. I have the pipe so it just lays on my crossing 4x8's, and then I attach the hammock to the 4x8's----which means I'm really stressing the 4x8's and the stake. Aha. So I'm going to try attaching the hammock to the pipe, like you've done there, and see if that doesn't help lighten the stake load. So fascinating. I'm learning more about engineering and physics with this..... Thanks for your help, Jules.
Nice! I love the idea of not being limited to areas with trees. I'm going to see if there is any way I could do something like that using the TATO hammock stand.

cornice08 Thanks,,, I used it yesterday with a tarp and hammock, The tarp was just to keep the sun off me.
Wonderful idea with the A frame. Could you design a way to use your A frame system to use your dual hammock tent?
+Gary Ditchfield Yea, I will look into this...
