Outstanding review, great thumbnail. I’d heard of this game a long time ago and completely forgot about it, I may have to check it out. Also, every time I hear the “papers please” it reminds me of either the first or second Medal of Honor game where you have to show your papers to a guard as you sneak in under disguise.

It's a really great one and I'm interested in playing more games like it for sure. It's like playing Tetris while trying to keep the pieces from exploding and deciphering which piece of a good pieces and which pieces are the bad pieces 😂 Will not quite, but it's the best analogy I had. Either way, I think it's worth every penny

It's a really, really fun one. I'd be hard pressed to tell you to buy a Vita and papers please just to play it but if you have a PC I think that would be the best and cheapest way to play it or on a mobile device. Thanks so much for the great comment Wayne! Hope you had a great day!

Awesome review! This is a fantastic game that I used to own on the Vita and I regret selling it back then looking at how much it goes for now! I was never able to have a great ending though! But I bought it on Steam and I will definitely try it again! I bought Not Tonight because it reminded me of Papers Please but I haven't tried it yet! Now I'm intrigued by Return to the Obra Dinn so I will have to pick it up! Great video and keep up the good work!
It's not impossible to get the best ending. You just have to starve your family every second day and not give them heat everyday either. As long as you shoot straight and don't take any bribes or put up unauthorized wall hangings you're golden!
I'm definitely going to be checking out not tonight and return of the Obra Dinn. They both look like a lot of fun
I went through this in real life. It's something Modern Western Societies doesn't experience.
There were many under the table money. There were have to know who. The higher the top, the easier the task at hand. I won't say which countries but it's also listed as currupted. Not only is the government there are currupted, ordinary folks are too. If people think SS is bad, imagine regular folks including son/daughter/brother/sister/etc could be SS.
Wow! That sounds rough and you're right it's something that Western society takes for granted. I truly worry about Canada though and the way our government is going. If Justin Trudeau had his way, Canada would look a lot like this.
@@RetroRivals I went through it with sponsoring my wife. She has 1 uncle that work for the government and his task make one of the task easier. The other uncle knows a person (business wise) on the heiroarchy in the sponsoring department of that government. Im glad that Im in Western society where this is not accepted. It's alot of bribing and who one knows. This is just government BS but business wise, there are more BS as well.

Certainly not a game for everyone, although I will tell you there's more to it than what it seems. Feels surprisingly immersive for a puzzle game

I quite liked the look of the pencil art detective game though 🤔
It's actually really intriguing and the speed it which you have to look through the paperwork increases and all the things you have to look for. I don't know. It just really worked for me but at the same time Scott feels the same way as you do about it. Might not be a game for everyone

I remember when this first came out for pc and it seemed really interesting. I skipped this though cause i don't like pc gaming and i don't have Vita either.🤔
I'm not a big fan of PC gaming either, but there's a few. I definitely want to play that. I just can't justify spending the money on.
I have no mouth and I must scream is when I really want to play but both the book that it was based on in the physical game are ridiculously expensive.
