I don’t think people realize how much work goes into organizing events like this, which is why I find your videos so fascinating. The liability factor is high too, so anyone who gives you shit for looking out for their safety and comfort during a race should think a little deeper before complaining about it. Buying a few pieces of extra gear to ensure that you don’t get hypothermia, lost, or killed - worth every dollar. Thanks again for these videos, Jamil. The mountains over there seem really runnable. Not so here in the Alpine regions of Europe, where everything is super steep, gnarly, rocky, interspersed with precipitous and precarious terrain and endless screes. Really beautiful scenery you got over there.

I swept from Alunite over Delano and down to Mud Lake. It rained and hailed on me too, but it was nice to be out in those mountains!
