  • Simple breakdown of the M1A / M14 rifle bolt assembly for cleaning and maintenance. This procedure should be similar for this family of rifles.

I liked the video....thank you for taking the time to post it and for making all the camera angles correct and detailed so that we could see exactly what you were doing. And for giving a detailed explanation....i just got my first m1a ....mine is a "tanker" with a wood stock.

Thank you. It didn’t come with any instructions when I ordered it so once I figured it out, I wanted to share. Thanks for coming by!

I have never disassembled a M1A bolt because Springfield Armory said not to. It has a lifetime warranty and I read best wear good safety glasses as little springs will be flying. That was a good video ,if needed I would give it a try.

Mine didn’t come with a manual that is interesting to hear. It is very tricky to do. Thanks for coming by!

It is not an M1A if it is stamped "M14F" on the receiver. M1As are Springfield Armory (Inc.) products.

True enough, I’m afraid if I use the term 14 I will get called out on that, so I figured that M1 a is a more common term that will be recognized widely. Thanks for coming by!
