We're new immigrants and your videos helped us decide which car to get. We are a family of 4 so the CR-V was one of our top options given the space it provides. We're not too particular with all the bells and whistles. We just want to get to work, school, supermarket and back home. We've decided to get the Sport only since we don't want to spend too much and might be short on our budget.
My wife and I test drove a 2025 CRV hybrid touring yesterday. It’s pricey for what it is, and some features are lacking, but that being said, we both loved it. The thing drove so well, we have crappy roads and streets, it soaked up the bumps so good, was so quiet, the power was good and didn’t feel overpowered or underpowered. It felt like the right engine was there for the vehicles capability. It was spacious, surprisingly so in the rear seat, the doors opened wide, it was easy to get in and out, height was proper, etc. Rear space was good too. My wife was really comfortable in it, comfortable driving it/parking it. I can see why they sell a lot of these, very popular here
@ can’t agree with you on that. I’ve driven quite a few cars in my time, and the truly great vehicles are the ones that feel balanced, the right engine and transmission is in the right vehicle, like the vehicle was designed as a whole, handling and drivetrain are synced. Nothing worse than driving a car with a massive engine up front and nothing else built to allow you to utilize that power. The most fun I’ve ever had driving was taking a smaller power engine to its limits in a vehicle well matched.
Just here to thank you for all your car related videos since last one year. I landed in USA last year October, was using a leased car from April 2024 as I had no credit history and no enough down payment. After extensive research I had shortlisted CRV and RAv4 based on my requirements. With multiple test drives, I concluded that CRV provides much much better driving experience over RAV4, few important features such as 360 Camera and rear view mirror camera are big miss though but I would rate driving comfort above all. Recently bought a New Honda CRV ST 2025 Black color. Your videos were really helpful for me considering the fact that I wasn’t really aware about US car market initially. Now my search ends until next few years, I would still continue to watch your videos in between and would highly recommend your channel in my network.
I’m still peeved how Honda refuses to give the CR-V features that the Accord has. They really dropped the ball when it comes to asking price and what’s included.
yes i completely agree! with that price point they should have the 360 cam and those rear ventilated seats!!!! In other countries they all had that feature, but not in the US. Maybe because of Acura? i dont know
I can say that when I test drove a 23 CRV Hybrid when we were toying with replacing our 16 CRV Touring, the difference in acceleration wsa very notable. Like Night & Day compaed to the 16 CRV. I should note that after 8 years of ownership (may 2016 - our 4th CRV since 2007 [all leased until a purcahse of the 16 CRV (2010, 2013 {which had the AirBag issue} , we Never had One Problem with any of THEM! I was super impressed with it when I test drove it. Super smooth and felt very well built. Bummer that it skimps on some features its competitors have given its now 42K price tag for the Sport Touring.
Great review! I appreciate you two taking the CRV for a comprehensive test. I really love the new Honda CRV Sport Touring model. It checks all the boxes of reliability, comfort and fuel economy, but I agree with you about the top trim missing some key features. At the price of $42,000+ I expect a little more comfort and convenience. Plus, as an owner of a 2005 CRV EX model, I miss some old school features like: 1) A full sized spare tire that was mounted on the back door ( so it didn't use any interior space ), 2) The cleverly hidden picnic table that served as the trunk floor, 3) The extra cargo space under the trunk floor/picnic table. I would really like to see if Honda could possible bring these unique features back in a future redesign. It was sad to see these features leave, especially a full size spare tire.
Totaly agree! I have CRV 2005 too! It still smooth engine even thought 180,000 mile after nearly 20 years on road. Unfortunately, it was be hit and total loss in July, 24.
I love my new 2025 Honda CRV Sport Touring. I think it is the best car I have ever owned. I am getting 38.2 mpg over all driven after a little over 2,000 miles on the odometer.
If Honda don't change the infotainment system, the gauge cluster put a panoramic roof on put heated seats. Heck even rear window sun shades. Anything like that? I'm going for the Hyundai Tucson or the Nissan rogue Honda's. Just missing stuff. It said miss opportunity especially the competition having all of the features that people want and need inside their car. Honda please upgrade the CRV with a 12.3 in screen. Heck, even a 14.6 in screen and put a new digital gauge cluster. Cluster put a panoramic roof, hated seats heated and ventilated. Front seats. Heck even heated and ventilated rear seats. So if you really want it to cargo area is good for me. But Honda. Please step up you again and put a 360 camera too
Yes, you cite some Features included in those cars, However, aside from some missing features, you just can't beat Honda's resale Values! The best in the Business. Yeah, I wish this 25 CRV Sport Touring Hybrid should have included the Over -Hyped panaramic Sunroof (I have on in my 22 MDX - other than propmpted by my Grandaughter, I never use it) ,it should have Ventulated seats (thatt's a Big One), and Power telescoping steering wheel adjustment, and a larger InfoT. screen. A HUD wopuld really Nice too.
I’m guessing that the 2026 refresh (assuming Honda refreshes its vehicles on the fourth year of its generation) will include a fully digital gauge cluster.
Really great video. Just bought this 2025. Sport touring. Lots of the features were on my Acura RDX 2019. I like the Honda hybrid concept. Agree with all your comments, especially some of the be nice to have features.
I live in Asia and own the hybrid version RS e:HEV and it has almost all the features you mentioned are missing (same case with Europe). It seems Honda NA is keeping the CR-V from competing directly with the Acura RDX which is also available in North America market. I have seen some owners order those parts as replacements from other markets.
I see hardly anyone mentioning reliability as a main feature. Also, what do you need 360 camera for? Panororaic roof? as scotty said "the more you plumbing, easier it is to louse things up" I have a 2023 and am VERY glad that honda has kept things traditional, like knobs! room to put cells phons somewhere...convenient and well thought out. I want reliability and resale value more than a bigger moon roof or 360 camera. Picinic table as part of trunk is pretty cool. Spare tire on back woiuld be a good idea.
Unfortunately, Honda is still relying on their past reputation and not offering nearly as much as several other competitors and we all know who they are. Also 23,24 & 25 are all the same car for cost increases each year.
I just watched this and 2025 Tuscan videos back to back. In top hybrid, nonPHEV, trim they are priced about the same. Not having a multi-view camera (here in the USA) even in the top trim is a big disappointment. It is probably a deal breaker for me even considering so many advantages over their Korean competition. And why is the side-view lane watch camera no longer available here (like my 2014 Odyssey had)? Note: What's confusing is that there are multiple Honda corporation videos showing the CR-V with multi-view cameras, but they must be for other markets.

Sorry but compared to some of the competitors it lacks a lot especially considering this is the top of the line trim. Take a fully loaded Kia Sorento X Line Prestige for example, the CRV interior looks so cheap & lacks a lot of the technology the Sorento has for roughly the same cost. If you look at the CRV & the RAV4s interior they look similar, cheap & very dated compared to the competition.
Yeah!, Wtf Honda?! Ventilated Seats, Heated Rear Seats, Head Up Display, Digital Gauge Cluster, Rear Window Sunshades, Panoramic Moonroof, 360 Camera and standard HomeLink is all available in other rivals! I would take a CX-5 over this, it’s much better, more reliable and has more features for the same price.
We are missing too many features like ventilation and heated second row… we are also missing a bigger display… Mazda and rogue have way better screen size. Even the 360 camera. Missing too much for this price point
@@Zach-bg6ub oh, I knew they had one in development....didn't realize it was so close to be released. I still wouldn't go for it, with Mazda's awful infotainment, but glad to see the hybrids taking off and Mazda finally joining.
That's not a revelation. Warranty programs are already a well known part of each car manufacturers business model. Honda normally don't have a substantial warranty because they make a reliable powertrain. Honda assumes that if one of their cars break down with low mileage it was likely due to something the owner/driver did wrong. If a vehicle doesn't break down then there's no need for a huge and expensive warranty program and those company funds can be used to improve the car or keep the MSRP low. An example of an opposite business model would be Hyundai. Hyundai offer extensive warranties, but that money to replace engines and transmissions for their customers has to come from somewhere. The Koreans have chosen a business model that prioritizes warranty service over reliability. The 'pathetic' Honda warranty comes with a pretense that people already know Honda make reliable cars so an extensive warranty program would be a waste of resources.
I hate that Honda only offers black wheels on the hybrid CR-V in all trims, even the top trim. I cannot stand black wheels. Otherwise, I like everything else about the hybrid CR-V.
Sure gets better the more you drive...like a great wife that takes years to prove she is a good wife. Having fun with a female in 1 night stand cannot prove how great a wife, mother, lifetime partner she is, just like the many vehicles you and all reviewers do with 1 time driving

@@GarlandTexasSpotter2024o
We are missing too many features like ventilation and heated second row… we are also missing a bigger display… Mazda and rogue have way better screen size. Even the 360 camera. Missing too much for this price point
CX-50 and Rogue don't come in hybrids...huge drawback these days. Edit: apparently CX-50 coming out with hybrid soon.
@@jefff7287 your wrong, Cx-50 is coming with a hybrid.
@@Zach-bg6ub oh, I knew they had one in development....didn't realize it was so close to be released. I still wouldn't go for it, with Mazda's awful infotainment, but glad to see the hybrids taking off and Mazda finally joining.
@@jefff7287 True! And they are pairing the engine with Toyota’s hybrid!
This crv or rav4 xse hybrid?
CRV
My next vehicle even though the warranty is straight cheeks.
It need Ventilated seat, hud, better digital screens, better material especially arm rest area 🤦♂️
In Canada, we have thé Bach heated seat
Hi does canadian model comes with the indirect tpms system I realize the 🇺🇸 model does
In America we don't care
Are CR-V seats still hard?
Is a P.H.D hard
No spare tire??? WTF?
The hybrid road noise is worst compared to the non hybrid.
Howcome for safety ratings there hyundai has better scires tgan honda? 😒
What is it with Honda and the dumb orange stitching??
Maybe add "Hybrid" to title. Thanks.
Looked at the CRV, both ice and hybrid. Mom and I drove both and did oour research...We bought an Outback XT. Beautiful road car (sorry)
It's unfortunate how pathetic their warranty is
That's not a revelation.
@@jordanimatedstreaming imho If you make a more reliable car, you should offer a longer warranty. Not a shorter one
@@user-rw7xd7qy3jthen try a chinese car they're offering 10 yrs warranty
@@jordanimatedstreamingthat’s a cop out and Honda knows it.
That is a lousy looking infotainment system it’s very small
I hate that Honda only offers black wheels on the hybrid CR-V in all trims, even the top trim. I cannot stand black wheels. Otherwise, I like everything else about the hybrid CR-V.
Aftermarket Rims? But the Honda rims have sound deadening material in them.
@@bryb2644 Yeah, if you want to spend an extra $2K and have 4 black wheels sitting in your garage.

Sure gets better the more you drive...like a great wife that takes years to prove she is a good wife. Having fun with a female in 1 night stand cannot prove how great a wife, mother, lifetime partner she is, just like the many vehicles you and all reviewers do with 1 time driving
That is one sad interior

The interior is terrible. These legacy manufacturers are becoming extinct at their own hands.
honda continues with bad color choices
Just get an Equinox, Honda is not innovative at all.
