Bass fly tying, Simple Foam Frog

Here's an easily tied, but effective little foam frog. fish it around grass and other cover for all those frog eating gamefish. Anything that eats a frog will have a go at this, black bass, toga, pike... whatever. Tie some and catch some hawgs.

Great,easy to make pattern. I`ll be doing some of these,to catch jack pike,chub and possibly perch,off the top on the river Nene,down my way .Thanks for sharing it.

+marcodsv this is more subtle and less poppy, I actually just uploaded another foam frog video this morning that is a bit more of a chugger.

Nice frog, what thickness is the foam you are using? It appears to be much larger than the standard 2 or 3MM. Perhaps 6MM?

hi Ron, it's 6mm crosslink foam from hairline, it's thicker and a bit tougher too. Glad you are enjoying the videos.
