Awesome video I have a 2015 Veloster non turbo with a p0916 gear shift position circuit low won’t go into gear . Can this be a simple sensor replacement or may have to switch out a whole new transmission?
With this models if dual clutch i always do first the dct learning process thru the scantool, coz that eliminates atleast the electrical stuff and then i will start actuating the odd and even gears if that all passes , since its low circuit code i would start checking the wiring with their approppriate voltage. So right now car wont move?
@@hyundaitech yes the car won’t move right night I tried to do the learning but it failed . I also tried to do the gears on their own also faild. The transmission now displays E I do see irregular voltage in the live scan .
@@rickl4107 the E just saying that theres error in the system, before condeming the gear actuator (select and shift actuator) check if you have 5 volts going in good ground and check signal coming out if it register any voltage, if you have all those could be faulty on the gear actuator ( coz theres sensors in there cpuld be shorted) if you dont have those voltage reading like the 5 volts yiu have to go tcm and see, could be broken wire. Let me know what you find. Thanks
was looking into getting a 2013 hyundia veloster, would you advise to stay away because of bad engines and how long do they usually go before the engine goes bad?
that really depends on the maintenance before of the used car, veloster engine like accent, they are not that bad compare to elantra, santa fe and sonata. if you are planning to buy, just double check that theres no abnormal noise coming from engine and if its dual clutch, its shifting smoothly. hope that helps
Do you have any codes? If you have scantool try actuate the clutch actuator 1 if it makes a sound, if not check power and ground to that actuator and maybe you need new actuator.
@@IyasSalim ahh okay, i believe theres a active test fir clutch 1 actuator and you have clutch 2 too so that you can see the difference between the two. If it actuate atleast you know that the pcm is capable to do it. So either you got a bad actuator worst is the fork inside the transmission clould be faulty.
Big fan of your channel brother salute 🫡. Have a ever had a 2019 G70 crank no start? No trouble codes present but vehicle has fuel & spark? If I spray starting fluid in the throttle body, it runs for a second then stalls?
Sorry for the late reply been busy. For the fuel you tested that to high pressure fuel pump? Maybe the connector for the injectors are not plug in? Is the g70 2.0turbo?

Hey, same issue in the video and is demonstrating a E on the cluster and is in safe mode, drives then limp mode active
Scanned for codes, maybe you have codes in the transmission, and cranksensor can cause that too.

When I take off the crank shaft sensor and replace it the gear for short time will return normal
And when I take the battery cables out and again it takes the first and blinks to second gear fastly
