I was very invested in it last time you started planting the yams in sack. I am glad to see the harvest. We have a family farm and have sacs from chicken feed, as well as chicken manure. I will have to start this on the farm to see if it will work.
instead of tearing the sack, you can fall it on the side and roll it on the ground until the tuber is separated from the sand, this would save you time on digging and enable you to re-use the sack in the next season.
Well done May Jehovah God Almighty continue to be with you all with his kindness, goodness mercy and protections in Jesus Christ name amen 🙏♥️. This is the right good positive direction working ways to earn your own living money on Earth 🌎. More grease to your elbow. I wished you all, peace, good health and wellness and a successful good living in your farming business in Jesus Christ name amen 🙏. Thank you. 😊❤
I think the guys need more than cutlass. As Africans we don't think of easiest ways of doing things. I think having a hammer to break the sand up a bit in the sacks before opening them will help th harvesters better. Also they need to protect their hands by wearing gloves!
Wow, am super impressed by this video, please what kind of soil do I need for a small home garden ? And what else would i be adding to the soi to make a good yield? Thanks

If you have an alternative, like bags that have pore spaces or that can easily drain water, then use it instead. But if you must use rice bags, you have to puncture it at various points on the sides and at the button

Great Initiative and advise. Thanks for Sharing and best wishes. My concerns are more on the soil quality long term because of the use of Sacks that produce microplstic and eventually reduce the soil quality, thus affecting the yarm quality.

im sorry if you dont see the bad effects of plastic on the environment and its effects on human. Luckily i come from a country that has banned plastic i stopped using plastic for many years and i hope one day we will live in a world without plastics, one can try using organic sacks made from coconut or sisal fibre
Can somebody water the bags just before harvesting? I am of the view that the soggy soil will in addition to making it easy to separate the yams from the soil, ensure the sacks are secured for a reuse.

It will definitely work. Just do it right

Fantastic!
But I normally water the bags with water sprayer in my farm to make it easier to harvest.
Farming yam in bags is the best in urban area.
You're right. Especially where space is a challenge
Thank you,you are a good instructor,very engaging and educative,sir
Thank you for sharing you are a ✨ celebrity
You are so welcome
Plse, what is the name of the chemical you used to prepare the yams? How do you mix the chemical?
Well done guys, I love your hard work continue to motivate the youths to get into farming. God bless your hand work❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much
Hi, just getting to see your videos and I must say you're doing a good job.
When is the next training please, I'm interested
Would start on 9th of April, 2024.
instead of tearing the sack, you can fall it on the side and roll it on the ground until the tuber is separated from the sand, this would save you time on digging and enable you to re-use the sack in the next season.
Good advice. I was holding my breath that they would cut the yams with them using machetes😂
the sun and water has depleted the strength of the sack quality and strength.so its useless.
On reuse of the sack, it won't be possible with this sacks.
Except if they were not exposed to sunlight
Very correct
No, they won't. The guys are very skilled
❤❤❤Good job 🎉
This is extraordinarily impressive, keep it up.
I have just come across this video. Great content. When are you having another course? Thank you.

Great work. How many tubers do you get in a sack.
You plan for one tuber, however, you could get over the 2 tubers in some cases
What did you use to wash the yams.
Please Chidav, did you use fertiliser or you just planted with ordinary soil? The result is just amazing!❤
Hi brother can i grow yams in Kenya? and where will i get the seeds please

The question is are you not using stick like bamboo stick to stand the ropes of the yams
We do.
Bamboo are used for erecting the vines
This is very intensive and the tubers are small , I want to see the harvest of the 12,000 yam
Please what's the size of the sacks you use?
25kg and above
Thanks
Please like how much can one get to Stert like 5000 bags or less.as a starter without the land cost..thanks
Great Initiative and advise. Thanks for Sharing and best wishes. My concerns are more on the soil quality long term because of the use of Sacks that produce microplstic and eventually reduce the soil quality, thus affecting the yarm quality.
Soil quality remains. Just ensure you treat your soil well, by ensuring the tight amount of organic manure is applied
12K YAMS? What is the size of the land to cultivate this much yams?
1 acre of land
Am a student and I want to start on a very small scale.
I will need your blessings Sir
Please what chemical should I put on the yam seed before planting
Fungicide and insecticide
manure@@ChidavAgriculturalHub
So which method is more advisable for commercial farming? Yam in sacks or open field?
I'm interested sir
dont use the smallest for seed. actually use the best ones for seeds to pass good genetics
Please what's the Duration from planting to harvest
6 to 9 months
Im interested.

It seems like the tubers are not quite big. Why?
They are big.
How profitable is this type of farming and what measure are put in place to manage those soils from sack after harvesting?
If done right, you can make over 100% on ROI
@@ChidavAgriculturalHub that is superb
Im from Kenya and i was interested to see how a yam plant looks like, the plastic rubbish is scary.
Saying it's plastic rubbish, simply means you don't even have a grasp of what sack farming is, and all it's benefit

@@ChidavAgriculturalHub,
Hi, will it be possible to pay by installation? Because of the situation of the country, 50k is too much for some of us to pay at once.
I would use the scratched yams as seeders and sell the intact ones because really scratched tubers have no value.
That's quite interesting though. Don't you think they could be infested from the cuts?
Good work. Please send us your contact for the training enquiry
+2348039725101
The method is good. But. It's. Compounded the growth of the yam the best way is to add grass to the sand
Can somebody water the bags just before harvesting? I am of the view that the soggy soil will in addition to making it easy to separate the yams from the soil, ensure the sacks are secured for a reuse.
You can add water for easy harvesting, however, the sacks are one time use.
There's nothing saying that the sacks cannot be reused?
if the sack used is biodegradable , which is the best to use, it cant be used twice. At harvesting, it should be too weak for reuse.
Klo di Indonesia namanya gembili
Great to know.
How did you dispose of the sacks? As you may be aware, they can damage the environment because they are not biodegradable.
People are thinking of food now...
No environment is damaged.
When you're on the field you'll understand better.
