This is an effort on finding the perfect space on which to farm none of these are my lands. I will be trying all you suggestions in green houses. I plan to measure all amendments even the amounts of water given to each plants. I would to stay in touch with you on this and other farming related issues.

    The knowledge from this your experiment is enoumous, apart from the fact you could grow yam with the individual structure for the yam formation.
    A mixture of Sand, biochar and sawdust will really do amazingly great the combo will retain water, and remain soft and not compact during the growing period and this combination will offer the yam opportunity to grow far deeper into the earth. You may be talking about 6 to 7 kg of yam or more. Definitely i will try this combination when i get home. I don't want my workers to do the experiment for me.
    Thank you for this experiment, it increased knowledge on the structural sets that can grow yam if adopted. The rice dust could be mixed with Biochar and Soil proper to bring about some retention and keep the soil loose from planting to harvesting.

      Sir, I suggest you try out the mixture as a new category by the next phase of the experiment as a comparison with this wonderful baseline pilot study you have done. Maybe, a mixture of soil/biochar, soil/sawdust and soil/rice husk. Then, there could be variations as well like (soil:others - 70:30, 50:50, 30:70, etc). Gracias!

    • @donaldonuoha4268
      @donaldonuoha4268 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Then, since roots can migrate to tap nutrients, maybe separating the bags could enhance further findings. To eliminate options where roots of the yam planted in sawdusk would migrate into the biochar and draw nutrients, and vice versa!

    • @Naturesheritagenetwork

      Composted sawdust not fresh. The secret most be don't know is that once you have access to sawdust, you already have the best form of biochar. All you need to do is to convert sawdust to biochar through a process called pyrolysis. You can look that up on my channel. Just check climate change in my channel. You see a less than 5 mins video where I gave the secret of getting biochar in bulk
