@@angiegracie6954 This place is also vulnerable to storm surge.Katrina sent a 25-30ft storm surge through the Mississippi coast.
Do you have to pay to park at the beach? Like you do in galveston?
It's getting to where you we will have to pay to breathe!!!
No, and there was much less traffic and crowding in general. The sand was very nice, but once you get to where the water is there are a lot more sharp shells and rocks than Galveston has.
How does the weather in Biloxi compare to Tampa, FL?
The weather is similar especially in the summer. Highs in the 90s lows around 80 and very humid. Winter in Biloxi is mild, but will have a few cold shots where low temps can get below freezing. Spring, and fall is warm temps in the 80s. The rainiest months in Biloxi are June, July, August with July being the wettest. The driest month is October.

Yeah the President Casino used to be there. Hurricane Katrina's storm surge pushed it across highway 90 into a hotel.
Yes, there was the President Casino at what was the Broadwater Marina. There was a nice hotel there, once owned by Joe E. Brown's widow. All the empty spaces on your left was once beautiful old antebellum homes washed away by Camille and Katrina.
Is this your first time in Biloxi MS
I lived in Biloxi, then Ocean Springs from 1992-2010. Married twice, divorced twice there. I was a Home Health Nurse for Quality Home Health. A nasty divorce right after Katrina was such a financial burden, I hit the road as a travel RN. Ended in Napa Valley, CA and recently retired. I have been contemplating returning to O.S.
