Im absolutely loving it, but I can play devil's advocate and think of a few reasons as to why some people dont like it. It doesnt have enough action. It feels very different from other star wars shows. It has slower pacing. It doesnt explain things outright, it expects you to connect the dots, which many people cant do (my dad for instance, is left confused in many scenes). It doesnt involve jedi, sith, or the force in any way. None of these things are flaws of the show, its mostly prefference. Even the best written shows wont hook everyone, some people just prefer simpler things that ate easy to understand, or just some explosions and lightsaber battles. I have no idea how, but I know some people that enjoyed Boba and Obi Wan, and gave up on andor after episode 2

@@IzzoCello Gotta disagree. The Force is one element of SW, but so are the legacy alien species, ship designs, planets, droids, and similar thing. I want a definite limit on seasons in this show. I would say 2-3 really good seasons would be wonderful. Any more than that would be pushing it. I love what it is now, and I would like to see more of the spy aspect with missions and stuff like that next season for sure.
it's only 2 seasons it's set in stone.
@@GreenLightMe that’s why I’m not too worried if a lot of people are not watching it. 😊
Right now, I'm just looking forward to the last two episodes of season 1. Bringing in some known characters into some of season 2 sounds good to me so long as Gilroy is allowed to maintain the standard of quality we have gotten so far; i.e., KK and her minions butt out.
I would laugh is Gilroy think I didn't even try and you guys love. How shit did you get before lol. Jokes aside let's hope the work that comes is fun. I'm going to interested in how they group all the rebel cells altogether to head to yavin and then the shot of million happens
Do you think that the majority of people who like Andor are more hardcore Star Wars fans?
And the casual fan’s and people who aren’t fans don’t like Andor?
For those of you who don't like Andor....why?
What is it that isn't working for you?
not enough lightsabers and action for them
Im absolutely loving it, but I can play devil's advocate and think of a few reasons as to why some people dont like it.
They're either children or have the mentality of children.
do you think _Andor, Season 2_ will show the moment Mon Mothma decided to go with the that awful haircut?
Love Andor., bad bad, Mandalorian , obi- won was Ok .
Hopefully we get main cast aliens and a tiny kernel of the force to make it feel more like star wars in season two. He’s obviously a talented enough guy, I hope it translates to the aspects that makes Star Wars Star Wars. Thanks for the news and banter as always.
Aliens yes definitely. Don’t need to have the Force.
@@donkeysaurusrex7881 each to their own but without the force it’s not Star Wars. No force short term is fine but if you change two characters and some ships then this is star trek or dune very easily and that’s not Star Wars to me personally. It’s very good but it’s lacking some star wars for me.
@@IzzoCello Gotta disagree. The Force is one element of SW, but so are the legacy alien species, ship designs, planets, droids, and similar thing. You don’t need every one for something to be SW, but you do need some connections. Aliens and droids are easiest because in the galaxy we saw in the OT, PT, and EU they are everywhere. Heck the Ewok movies are SW, and they have very little tying them in other than Ewoks. So in a series like this where we’ve gone roughly half of it without the Force being mentioned, no I don’t think it needs to be shoehorned in as a reference.
@@donkeysaurusrex7881 yep that’s why I said each to their own. We all enjoy it how we want to. 👍 It just misses for me.
@@donkeysaurusrex7881 just so you don’t think I’m a “we must have jedi and light sabers” kinda guy what I would like to see (since we’re doing a deep dive in this show about how evil and scary the empire is) is to show palps using the dark side to push people that might not normal do some of these bad things over the edge. I would love to see how his manipulations force (lol) some of the ISB things. It’s a great show. I hope the writing stays good and we all get a little something more that we want from it.
Thor finally relented and didn't hum the SW theme.
I disliked the first few episodes and then the middle won me over, but now I'm melancholy because it's going to end and make us wait for 18 months for more episodes? WHAAAA.
The only people NOT liking Andor must be Sequel Trilogy fans...
a lot of the filoni fans don't like it either. Not all of them, but some.
The sequels being rushed was only one small part of what made them so terrible!
No no no legacy characters pleaaaaasseee. I have an OT headache
Still don't get the big song and dance over this show. It's okay, but frankly overhyped.🤷♂️
