LB Works 1/18 Lamborghini Aventador Vs AUTOart: Sealed Resin vs. Fully Opening

Would you pass on a resin and sealed model when there is an opening version of the same? The Den takes an in-depth look at the Liberty Walk and AUTOart versions with some unexpected results.

another thing i noticed too is that it seems like autoart has been using that same v12 aventador engine model throughout most of the variations of the car which is why the actual liberty walk version stands out more. they actually recreated the one thats customized to that liberty walk itself. makes a world of difference if you ask me! the autoart comes off as more of a normal aventador with body kit and wheels.

That's probably what it is. There is a company out there that you can buy the LB kit (wing, overfenders, etc.) and convert your "normal" Autoart Aventador.

I gotta admit the sealed version looks superb especially those metallic parts you pointed out that make a difference for realism. I assume that autoart probably had to compromise due to it being a fully opening model. I would hope that sealed models at least provide enough detail on the interiors and engine bays (if visible) to offset the fact that they're sealed. I've wanted to add one to my collection to check out but all my models open so I'm a bit hesitant considering they are still expensive and not all sealed model makers and cars are equal.

Thanks for the comparison! Have you ever looked at the Aventador models by Mr. Collection? Those are fully resin - and expensive - lol.

I have never owned or seen one first hand, but many agree that the quality is no better than BBR and BBR models cost less. Unfortunately BBR does not make any Lambos.....
