  • Pramath Raj Sinha is possibly one of the biggest names when it comes to higher education in India.
A serial education entrepreneur, Pramath is responsible for founding ISB Hyderabad, Ashoka University, The Vedica Scholars Programme for Women, Harappa, and many more.
In this episode of Knoversations Cafe - Podcast edition, Purnangshu Paul meets an ex-McKinsey consultant who discusses the state of IITs, higher education, access to education for women, and more in India currently.

He further delves into why he felt strongly about the need for a Women’s only PG programme in India, how education acts as a force multiplier, and how we often neglect our privileges in life.

but still its an indian university it dosent evade the union etc culture and left-capitalist dominance ? is it even close to functioning like a western university while it is taking 50 L for a 3 year BA we need to do away with permanent govt job from sweaper to scientist without revising it after every 3-5 years not just promotion but even retaining , this culture is unfair for future batches and the lower strata , we must be mobile , this is where the problem starts ! .

Making sweeping generalizations about an entire gender can be misleading and unfair. While everyone has their own unique experiences, it's crucial to understand that there are exceptional managers and leaders of all genders.

@@rohanshende4338I don't agree. See, the very fact that someone has a vagina doesn't make someone a bad manager. Having a vagina has nothing got to do with managerial skills. Your two managers were bad managers , they were not bad BECAUSE they were women.
