Possible responses: 6:37 Bradley: “Goes right with Howard! Does indeed take us out five from home!” Anne: “These are all surnames of other wives of Henry VIII. Catherine Parr was actually Protestant as well.” 11:00 Bradley: “Had only Marryk made it through to make this tight!”
I'm not convinced by the "funk" explanation. Being in a funk doesn't have anything to do with fear, it's about feeling unhappy and inconsolable, often because of being in a rut or some depression factors. A person who is scared of a bully might be called a punk, however. But maybe that's an Americanism.
It’s actually 14k. I commented in the Dhar Mann video “Kid Changes Grades By Hacking” and mentioned two cash builders: Marryk’s cash builder and the cash builder of the 14k player, Les. I read that Les was caught three from home. I had to be like, was he really caught three from home? In the comments of the Dhar Mann video, I basically asked, how do you think Marryk got 10K in the cash builder and Les 14K? Did they cheat? The student that changed their grades by hacking competed in the academic bowl and got just one question right. This was enough for the principal to be suspicious of his 4.0 GPA. He was extremely lucky to not be expelled, instead getting suspended for one week and forced to upgrade every single school computer so they couldn’t be hacked, and was denied a home computer himself.
Your doubt is true, but formed on the basis that your eyes and ears are merely deceiving you. The title says it is "One of the best" and Bradley said "5 figures in the cash builder doesn't happen very often", which means it is not a record at the time.
@@davidz2690 bro didnt know funk? Or that a wyvern is a dragon and a wendigo is a shapeshifter in mexican/native lore? not hard questions lol, dude just sold
@@fjw59 exactly. You expect the final to have harder questions than the cashbuilder , but this was leagues appart . They say the questions are random but that seem unlikely a lot of the time.
@davidz2690 Maybe it's because I'm from the US, but funk and wyvern were very easy questions. I agree that the other questions were really hard, though.
the producers saw him fly through the beginning questions & decided to give him the hardest questions 😂
Yeah I feel the questions are really unfair obviously the chaser will know 95% of the answers, and the public get ridiculous ones
Ridiculously difficult questions at the table
Apart from "funk" I agree with you
Funk and Wyvern he really should get, rest sure
you are joking right they were easy bar 1
Most difficult I’ve seen 🎉
Funk and wyvern imo should have been easy.
Marryk: Scores 10k on cash build.
Producers: *So, you have chosen death.*
Only one of the four i got was the human monster question 🥴
A combination of a very easy cash builder followed by a very difficult multiple-choice round. Bad luck.
When Ann is on form she is very hard to beat.
Agreed, best chaser in my opinion.
@alfiericketts932 your opinion is right. She has the highest win rate 79.3%. I think the Menace is at 79%
@@VinuraP-yl5phyeah fairs, darragh has also not had as long so percentage is less reliable
How ? She's been doing this her whole life lol she gets easy questions for her
looks like ice cube in the thumbnail
More like bottled water
Well done Ann
Went for as many pounds as Keith, and got as many questions right in the individual chase as Keith!

Marek....you were Conned
I got all 4. But to be fair, 2 of them were complete guesses

After Mark LaBette Anne Hegarty is my favourite.
Shame he dropped that one. 11 is the cash builder record, no?

Interesting questions girls
They always ask stinker questions when someone earns a high cash builder. No coincidence....
Yh every time 😂
Final chase is at 6:38 😊
I doubt that 10 grand was a record in the history of the game.

Guess you can't read
I think the best was a man who answered at rapid speed quite a while back.
so does the person who posted the video, Mr. Illiterate.
Jess is a looker
Didn't do him much good, did it.
2/4, didn't get the FItzgerald one or the Anne Boleyn one (Not European/American and it shows lol)
could he read the questions any slower for the contestant? ugh
I've sometimes wondered the same but I'm sure they would have been called out for this if it is true.
Mark jo carl jack full house for 10 steps
What happened??? You build that score in the cash builder and then fall to bits when it matters
he didn't know the answers and got unlucky with guesses? They were ridiculously hard questions at the table lmao

sometimes i think the chase is a little corrupt...
How so?
Cash Builder question: Who is the incumbent US president?
Individual chase question: What is the name of Shaun Wallace’s second born cousin?
