It's amazing how he plagiarized 90% of the video but completely missed the point of it being directed towards people trying to become professional VAs and not commentating gameplay with memes
It's pretty ironic how he himself went on a huge rant about professional voice acting equipment yet made his big TH-cam breakout screaming at Smash Bros. _good ass videos by the way_
People can commentate gameplay with USB, 3.5mm, XLR, it doesn't matter. For professional voice acting, however, you need to have XLR and a decent mixer/preamp. Weegee absolutely missed the point of Soulbrotha's video.
It's also hilarious how shit Weegee sounds in the comparisons like he's using a shitty pop filter. You can really hear those plosive sounds blowing into the microphone.
Yeah, if you're an amateur or hobbyist TH-camr, there's no point buying all this, but if you're a VO artist, then it is absolutely necessary to have good gear and good technique to maintain suspension of disbelief or if you just want to have professional grade sound in general.
I had seen the soulbrothih video a long time before weegee's so I knew it was similar, but the word-for word comparison is straight up shocking. You know what's a lot less professional than using a USB mic? plagiarism.
Also notice that Weegee took a completely different message from the initial video and hammered away at that. The original video while harsh implies that the Blue Yeti is a starting point that is alright but pales in comparison to more professional setups you should be using for clear voice acting. Weegee just wants to shit on the blue yeti because it's a popular choice for casual consumers.
I would argue that he doesn't really even want to shit on the yeti, he just sees relabeling other people's videos with a clickbait-y name and thumbnail as an easy way to gain subscribers.
bobvids THIS. I love my Yeti. I primarily use it for voice communication in video games and the occasional little video or song project I do for fun. It does everything I, the casual consumer wants it to do. Also a foam wind screen on it works wonders.
Spiny Justspiny if you were talking about the "original" video if you meant weegee' s video you was talking about how professional Mics and audio setups are better then the blue yeti (obviously)
The original video being soulbrotha's. Weegee restates a lot of content from the original video soulbrotha made, but changes the context and wording of it to carry a different, far more uninformed message. It's the difference between saying "A van is way better for multi-person road trips than a small convertible, but the convertible is a nice luxury vehicle for smaller groups and just solo cruising" because you want people going on trips to have good mixture of comfort and mileage, and someone else seeing that advice and taking it as "All convertibles fucking suck don't buy them" What weegee is doing goes beyond just wanting a clickbait title, he's using clickbait and plaigarism to phrase his own uninformed elitism in a way that seems professional.
A big thing I think you should've touched on was how Weegee is misapplying the information that soulbrotha is trying to get across. SBN3's video is about becoming a professional online voice actor, which actually does require professional equipment. Weegee is taking that and applying it to general use cases on TH-cam, which is just fucking stupid. The Yeti is fine for what most people use it for, namely consumer level recording. No shit it's not a professional quality microphone, it's not meant to be used for that.
It's a $80 - $100 USB mic that sounds nice for the price. The most offensive thing to me about the vid is him artificially adding in buzzing. It is very obviously manufactured noise; can't you insult the yeti without lying about it? Must not be that bad, if this is the case.
Weegee said it was fine for general use in the video, are you sure you fully went through it? He also said the snowball gave the exact same quality as the blue yeti, which is why he said it was terrible.
+Fyrex And at 6:44 in this video it's clearly laid out that Weegee contradicts himself on this point, and it also hardly excuses the clickbait title and thumbnail saying the thing "sucks".
"Oh btw I recorded this entire thing on a yeti" Boom. Mic drop (Although please do not drop your blue yeti, that's a bad idea...very bad idea. As a blue yeti owner, I can attest to this)
Context is also important, which Weegee missed the point on. SoulBrotha's coming from the context of professional voice acting and WeeGee is coming from a context of voice overs for videos or streams. It's an important difference since one really does require the highest quality sound output while VOs really just needs to be serviceable, something a decent USB mic like the Blue Yeti can totally fulfill, especially with some work in Adobe Audition or Audacity
Looks like Weegee finally deleted the video, cause it was still up a couple of days ago. now that he is part of the wildcard channel with Alpharad and Jaiden he probably didn't want people finding his ripoff video.
What I really want to know is why "Why the Blue Yeti Sucks" was plastered on my recommended tab as furiously as it was. It was the same with that fairly random "Polygon is wrong about the new Asscreed looking shit" or whatever a few months back. It certainly felt like the typical old clickbait and I suppose that's why TH-cam tried so hard to get me to watch it. I suppose I check a few of the boxes for their systems to insist on me watching this tripe. I really want to see the under-the-hood, behind-the-scenes stuff, like the end of a Telltale episode.
Ebeeto Yeah it got plastered all over my recommended as well, and I never watch microphone videos, and I have not watched anything by "Weegee" before. TH-cam always seems to promote the clickbait though. When it's not this, it's videos with tits and/or ass in the thumbnail with implications that you'll get to see more, but of course you won't, that's not allowed on TH-cam.
Not sure how overly complex the recommended video algorithms are, but I suspect it has something to do with videos frequently watched by users that watch the videos that your frequently watch. It was all over my recommended videos too, but it was after it got quite a few views. I've been a fan of soulbrotha for years so when the controversy came out, probably a lot of his subs watched that video. This mightve boosted it in my recommended videos.
I don't understand why Weegee thought this'd be okay. Like on a moral level it could just be plain old idiocy or actively not giving a shit but i mean did he think nobody would notice?? The internet is really fucking fast, dude.
But not in the video. Or the title of the video. Or at the top of the description, only at the very bottom. Also, if he's acknowledging that the other video exists, then his video has no reason to exist. He could've just tweeted a link to the original video to the same educational effect. He wanted people to think he made the video script himself. There's simply no other interpretation.
+Green Tees Yeah, you also put the things you take word for word and actively attribute them to the sources throughout the essay, and if you use one source and essentially say exactly the same thing while only changing the wording slightly you're gonna fuckin' fail.
Only after being called out that the video was plagiarism, and doesn't give full credit to it regardless. And even if he did, he still basically copied the entire thing so he could regurgitate information worse at significantly lower effort than attempting to do it himself. Basically that doesn't even remotely give him a pass.
there are people still defending Weegee and say it's citing not plagiarising. this video should show you that he completely plagiarised the entire thing.
Another problem that I have is that Weggie said. If you want to be professional at all you have to drop 700$ right away. When it would make for more sense to just drop 100 on the Blue Yeti just to get started in case you fail
Heck, I would even suggest that if you're just trying out TH-cam, dont even get a Yeti. A 30 dollar dynamic mic (like a SM58 clone) and a cheap UMC22 interface can sound great with the proper post processing. You'd be amazed what a little bit of EQ, compression and reverb can do. Been using a Behringer XM8500 and UMC22 for over a year now and everyone i speak to thinks I have an expensive setup, while my setup costs arout 60 dollars in total if you factor in the mic stand and pop filter
man it's bad enough i have to hear the same phrases in a row but the second one is so annoying. shoot,it's bad enough i have to hear two phrases side-by-side but the second one is damn annoyiiiiinnng.
Casualtrash yeah, when I saw the weegee video I was hella confused how someone so seemingly versed in recording had such horrible quality and voiceover skill, it was somewhat informative but an otherwise awful video. This explains it nicely.
Weegees voice isn't annoying at all. I know its the internet, and we're all allowed to have our opinions, but to me it seems like you wanted to jump aboard the "Weegee is the most garbage human being because he did one bad thing" train.
@@axpo7803 Well some of us actually think that, but because of that hate train's existence, our opinions are overshadowed and just categorised into blind hatred
Lmao @5:43 that dude ran a tight flanger over his audio to make it sound worse. I've done that on stream as a joke because it's so obviously not correct.
I understand what you are saying about a flanger, but I am not so sure that would actually be the case. My guess would be he either had an incorrect setup or had some interference. Just a theory though. I have noticed that while working on making waveforms for instruments from scratch (I try to make music sometimes) that sometimes having even the slightest microsecond of interference or in my case, a slight drop or increase in audio, can instantly decrease audio quality.
Whenever I think you've reached some kind of threshold for how wonderful and great your videos can get, you hit me with something like this. I love this. Thank you!
Okay so I wasn't the only one who thought something wasn't right with the Blue Yeti's "Audio sample" in Weege's video. I'm pretty sure if a mic that costs $100+ is prone to background buzzing/whining it wouldn't be as widely used as it is on TH-cam or have any good reviews at all. Was his mic busted or did he add it in thinking he could get away with it?
Now that WeegeeTheGod's terrible practices are out in the open, I feel it's time to tell my experience with him and how he took advantage of me. He requested a 3DS Capture Card from anyone that could provide it. One of my friends got in contact with me to inform me of Weegee's predicament. I messaged Weegee himself to discuss the details of how I would send the device to him and Weegee even stated that he would give me a video shoutout because of how much I'm helping him out. As a small channel, this is a huge deal as getting exposure from someone like that is extremely helpful. In the end, I sent the device to him and I have have heard nothing since and any attempts at reaching out to Weegee has failed. He jipped me out of a sold out device and just because he's a big TH-camr he thinks he can get away with taking advantage of the little guy. This is just the shorter explanation of what happened and I can provide all the screenshots and receipts if need be. EDIT: Here are the screenshots! imgur.com/gallery/iTOXw
Any ideas for what channel to hand all of this evidence to? I'd make a video, but it definitely wouldn't get the attention that it needs to. People need to be warned about the snake Weegee is.
Oh shit, I remember that, that was YOUR Capture card?? Fucking Christ man. You NEED to do this now. This time is perfect for you to get a point across, as if it came out now and got proper attention it would be a pretty big deal on top of the already plagiarism shit
Zeuro Maker Yeah, that was me! He made a lot of promises and he didn't follow through! I'm hoping someone will tell my story as mine definitely won't get as much attention.
Hell I know this sounds retarded and probably a bad idea but has Keemstar on DramaAlert called out Weegee recently? (is the channel even still alive lol?) You need to get it out, don't wait and hope for the best, you need to get in contact with people looking to 'expose' Weegee. If they made a video on the Blue Yeti copy and paste and also the gamecapture shit and ignoring you, that's a pretty strong argument of its own! If you add anything else he done you will have justice done. I wish you luck, and I'll be sure to pass on the video whenever it comes out (be it from you or a bigger drama youtuber)
I was working on a video to counter some of Weegee's points myself, but after this flawlessly executed response (along with calling out the blatant plagiarism that I was honestly unaware of) I really don't need to anymore. Great work! Also all the problems I had with Weegee's video were basically fixed in soulbrothanumbuh3's video. Go figure, huh. Finally, that ending was deliciously savage.
I got introduced to your channel through the Cinemasins breakdowns you've done, and you have just consistently made good content since I subbed. Great vid, bob. Can't wait to see more from you.
Beyond the plagiarism, it's unfortunate that TH-cam rewards worthless clickbait. It's a race to the bottom. More and more of the "recommended" videos are just empty-headed clickbait and top-10 lists. Each individual video is rewarded with more views, but the long-term effect is to degrade the quality of TH-cam overall.
It's funny. I actually watched soulbrotha's video first because I was led there from his Taste Closed videos, so I didn't watch Weegee's when it appeared on the suggestions. I had no idea his work was plagiarized. What a douche. Also, that ending was perfect
I almost had this happen to me with a video that was one of my most popular. Thankfully I confronted the person and he took it down. That has me wondering how many of his other videos were plagiarized though.
Weegee is the kid at school who copies websites to complete his homework and then has no idea about the subject when his teacher finds out and questions him about it.
These sorts of things are becoming distressingly common. Earlier there was a "popular" wow YT who made top ten lists who was then exposed by another one because all he was doing was taking other peoples/sites/YT's list, and rereading them, and calling them his own. He then tried to act like he didn't know it was wrong to steal, and then deleted his account once the backlash hit, and kept all the money. It's disgusting what they can get away with.
Nah the guy I was thinking of was called like warcraft bible, or canned beans wow. I believe another YT named kakio did a video like Bob's exposing his plagiarism. After he was exposed he made a joke of an apology which he put up adds for because he knew people were going to watch it, and then said he was tired of the hate, and stopped making videos once he saw people unsubbed, and jumping ship. So he stopped and kept all that money despite all that plagarism.
There was a trending video about skyrim that stole the entirety of one of 3kliksphilip's videos for no reason, considering philip's video was literally just random footage put together.
And now an IGN journalist has done the exact same thing with a gaming TH-camr, but IGN took notice, removed the video and article, apologized, and fired him.
Thank you. I never saw the original video and all Weegee's video did was make me feel bad for having a Blue Snowball and not having enough money for some expensive equipment. Now I feel better.
NightBlader yeah I felt bad about having my snowball but then he tried to tell people that you won't get anywhere without a $700 setup, which is ridiculous. Also, the plagiarism and disgusting elitism leave a poor taste in my mouth.
I got the opposite impression from it, that the additional features of the Yeti weren't worth the price difference between it and the Snowball for casual users. There's several things you can take Weegee to task for (this video and many comments here do just that), but the message I got from Weegee was that the Yeti has no market: that anyone looking to buy a Yeti could spend the same, or less, money and get better audio equipment. I'd actually been thinking of buying a mic when I'd come across Weegee's video, so it was a bit fortuitous for me. And I did decide to buy a Snowball in the end. I'm very happy with it and don't have any thoughts of replacing it with a Yeti or a "real" setup (in my circumstance, both for my needs and my budget the extra features of the Yeti make no sense). But I think Weegee is wrong, the Yeti does have a market; and people aren't stupid for buying it. In short, you're buying simplicity. All the work has been done for you when you buy a Yeti, you don't need to learn about audio tech, or learn how to balance/mix sound to get good quality audio. Not everyone has the time or ability to buy, and properly use, a more cost effective setup. But anyone can buy a Yeti and get good audio. The money "wasted" on a Yeti isn't wasted at all, you're paying for someone else to do all that work for you, and to put it together in a single, simple package.
Ah, man, this hurts. I'm a big fan of Weegee, and when I first watched the video, I thought of it as nothing more than "he's got some good tips, but I don't see that much of a problem with the Yeti if you're just a TH-cam hobbyist." But goddamn, I didn't realise how bad it was. I hope for his sake he tries to remedy this ASAP.
i originally thought you were being (...nitpicky?) when presented by weegee, but after watching this video, i can see the amount of insight that you put into this. thanks so much
YES! I closed weeges video as soon as he put up the "example" with the buzzing noise because I knew he set it up wrong and I was going to say it in a comment but I knew it would just fall on deaf ears.
The only thing Weegee's set up accomplishes is that I have to turn down the volume when one of his videos happens to come on due to TH-cam's horrid audio compression.
Thank you for this, I saw the video and it pissed me off. I use a Yeti primarily for the ease of use and it does the job for most situations. Definitely forwarding this on!
This was brilliant. THANK YOU for this! I use the Blue Yeti, and I think it's pretty solid. All you frickin' god damn need are a pop filter, a foam wind guard, and a scissor arm. No need for sound foam anywhere, or a specific kind of room. There's absolutely zero background sound, and it creates crisp clear audio. I'm not even USING software, and there's zero buzzing sound. I'm not sure how he got that background noise in his example. A "naked" Blue Yeti is the worst one, especially with that stand and its vibration noise issues. To anyone thinking of using the Blue Yeti: Please, go ahead and get it. I got it on sale for $100.00 only. It might be best to wait for such a sale. But, a USB mic is an excellent option for those who can't afford these batshit setups that are quite frankly ONLY for super professional voiceover setups. I mostly do VLOGs and Let's Plays, I don't need a pro setup. But, my setup is certainly much more pro than my setup was years ago. Here's the evolution of my audio and channel: 1. 720p/30FPS videos with me using a very crappy Logitech headset mic. Buzzing was an extreme problem, but I didn't care because I loved making videos and I still love making videos. 2. 720p/30FPS videos with me using a crappy Zalman shirt collar/wire mic. Buzzing was still bad, but not as bad. 3. 720p/30FPS videos with me using a Turtlebeach X12 headset mic. Now, my audio was really starting to get better, but it was still not that good. I eventually got up to 720p/60FPS videos. 4. 1080/60FPS videos with me using my Blue Yeti right here. My audio's never been more crisp and clear. It might not have the greatest quality, but I don't care. I also don't care about making my voice have that low "rumble" or "bass" to it. I want people to hear my raw, real voice. I'm not Markiplier, my voice is unique and has a nasal accent.
Weegee using that exact same "announcer voice" that TotalBiscuit and Markplier (and I'm sure tons of other TH-camrs) have been doing for YEARS. You just throw your voice into the deeper end of its spectrum and over-enunciate, and I'm sick of it.
Announcer voice is a voice technique that is used to flatten and minimize the regionality of someone’s voice. It’s quite useful if you want people from other regions to easily understand what you are saying, but if you don’t have practice using it, it sounds extra robotic.
Plus, Soulbro actually sounds good with his recordings. Weegee sounds all muddy and there's an occasional pop here and there. Even ignoring quality, Weegee just sounds fuckin' annoying with his radio announcer voice. He doesn't do it in a way that makes it pleasant to listen to, unlike Soulbro. Soulbro, despite coming off as even more mean-spirited than Weegee at times, is still much better to listen to because of his high quality, and his coherency, unlike Weegee, who doesn't even know what he's talking about.
i like that this ties into other content youve done recently like ewweww? i really like seeing you commenting directly on the state of the site and whatnot. good content
Late to the party, but WeeGee’s video is still up, so it’s still valid criticism. He’s incredibly unintelligent. Not mentioning the Phantom power requirement while “recommending” the microphones shows his total lack of care for the subject. It’s a complete insult to SBN3 and his own audience.
Great vid! I was going to leave a comment on Weegee's video. I use a yeti for everything, and he really misrepresented it. The yeti is a workhorse of a mic for anyone starting out streaming or making youtube vids.
LOL I was hoping you would say your entire recording was done on a Yeti, but by the end I forgot about it and was so surprised. It sounds great! My Yeti Pro sounds great, too! I don't know what the other guys were talking about.
Great work, man. I love my blue yeti and have had no issues with it since I began using it in many different scenarios. recorded music with it, vocals, TH-cam videos and podcasts.
Dogdraws At first, he was somewhat amusing. He was just starting out, he had a great voice, and a good sense of humor. He was even friends with AlphaRad, another Smash Bros. TH-camr at the time. Over time, however, he gained a smug attitude and started to belittle everyone who wasn't up to his standards. I think his channel started to head south real fast when he said that Paladins was Overwatch for poor people and chose to mock the opinions of those who had tried to talk with him about his opinions. He seemingly turned his smugness dial up to 11 after that, and then decided to make a video mocking TF2 and its community. The level of plagiarism in his Blue Yeti video, however, appears to be an all-new low for him.
Joshua Rosario That Blue Yeti video of his was God awful. like artificially adding a buzzing noise to the background to try and prove the Yeti is a bad mic. And it was blatantly obvious that he artificially added it too.
@@GoldRaptor00 A bit of a late response on my end, but I didn't take the videos seriously at all. I understood that he was just trying to rile up each game's respective audience. I still don't like his attitude, however.
My dude Weegee needs to alter his recording setup because I'm picking up a 2yr-delayed echo
GeopLP God DAMN IT GEOP
I can feel that burn all the way from Calgary, GOD DAMN
+++++++
That's his voice, though.
Chazz Ravenelle funny because Soul's original video series highlighted the importance of your recording space over your setup.
It's amazing how he plagiarized 90% of the video but completely missed the point of it being directed towards people trying to become professional VAs and not commentating gameplay with memes

good to see you on both this vid and weegees. good to see one of my favorite creators seeing and talking about this.
have you spoken directly too Weegee about this?
Why did I read this in your voice lmao
Because your're accustomed to his voice
im not sure whether you regurgitating the same ideas and bullshit in a ton of your videos is worse or plagiarism
Also notice that Weegee took a completely different message from the initial video and hammered away at that.

You never watched the previous video so I don't blame you, he said the yeti is fine for hobby use, but not for commentary for higher up youtubers.
The thick layer of smug does not, in fact, prevent Weegee's video from being plagiaristic.
Exactly! I especially hates when he tries to paint those calling him out on it as bullies!
LMAO, I've not seen a plagurism comparison video so blatent since the days of the AVGN Vs. Irate Gamer days XD

I would wonder if he's using viewbots as well. I'm sure there's some firms in China you could pay to do that and like the video for pretty cheap.
Ebeeto I also got this. My only microphone related search ever was for mounting a blue snowball on an arm and that was half a year ago.
TH-cam's motto used to be "broadcast yourself"
Now it's just "censor yourself"
“Broadcast others”
I don't understand why Weegee thought this'd be okay.
Like on a moral level it could just be plain old idiocy or actively not giving a shit but
i mean
did he think nobody would notice?? The internet is really fucking fast, dude.
He credited the original video in his description
But not in the video. Or the title of the video. Or at the top of the description, only at the very bottom.
Also, if he's acknowledging that the other video exists, then his video has no reason to exist. He could've just tweeted a link to the original video to the same educational effect.
He wanted people to think he made the video script himself. There's simply no other interpretation.
You don't start an essay with your sources.
5:32 Speaking of which, his video has 3 advertisements in the video.
Another problem that I have is that Weggie said. If you want to be professional at all you have to drop 700$ right away. When it would make for more sense to just drop 100 on the Blue Yeti just to get started in case you fail
in all seriousness you sound like someone who fundamentally understands how to run a startup
Atticus Shadowmore glad I wasn't alone in that thought.
Wow, the plagiarism is so egregious
that "so" was kinda pointless eh buddy?
How do you mean?
the word egregious underscores the "badness" of the plagiarism. the use of the word so isn't wrong, it just sounds slightly stupid
indeed that is probably the case
man it's bad enough i have to hear the same phrases in a row but the second one is so annoying.
shoot,it's bad enough i have to hear two phrases side-by-side but the second one is damn annoyiiiiinnng.
Casualtrash yeah, when I saw the weegee video I was hella confused how someone so seemingly versed in recording had such horrible quality and voiceover skill, it was somewhat informative but an otherwise awful video. This explains it nicely.
i dont think its the quality of the recording more so how he emphasises and speaks
TieTuesday woah i'm subbed to you :v
Pure Beef Magma im subbed to you :^
I understand what you are saying about a flanger, but I am not so sure that would actually be the case. My guess would be he either had an incorrect setup or had some interference. Just a theory though. I have noticed that while working on making waveforms for instruments from scratch (I try to make music sometimes) that sometimes having even the slightest microsecond of interference or in my case, a slight drop or increase in audio, can instantly decrease audio quality.
oh shit its The Tietuesday. the hitbox celebrity
LMAO a High School drop out copies a video, if he done this in High School he might have passed ROFL.
ProtoMario Savage lol
Knight Reese's so is protomario
He dropped out of high school because it was boring
ProtoMario you were just waiting for him to fuck up again so you can spouting his name to boost your view count.
Is it nice up there on your high horse?
Whenever I think you've reached some kind of threshold for how wonderful and great your videos can get, you hit me with something like this. I love this. Thank you!
Okay so I wasn't the only one who thought something wasn't right with the Blue Yeti's "Audio sample" in Weege's video. I'm pretty sure if a mic that costs $100+ is prone to background buzzing/whining it wouldn't be as widely used as it is on TH-cam or have any good reviews at all. Was his mic busted or did he add it in thinking he could get away with it?
Considering he's no stranger to bending the truth and scummy practices, each option is just as likely as the other
Pretty wild coming back to this after everyone was caught plagiarizing in 2023
Now that WeegeeTheGod's terrible practices are out in the open, I feel it's time to tell my experience with him and how he took advantage of me.
Yo should make a video with the screenshots in it or hand that info to a Chanel who reports stuff, seems like this weege guy loves being a scoundrel
(is the channel even still alive lol?)
You need to get it out, don't wait and hope for the best, you need to get in contact with people looking to 'expose' Weegee.
Clearly Weegee failed high school since teachers cram into our brains in high school not to plagiarise
munem939 he dropped out
This is hilarious cuz he actually dropped out
That or he doesn't care. Most likely the latter. ;)
"pfft, this is just gonna be some guy ranting about how someone did something simi- Oh my god its literally a carbon copy of the video..."
Great work here bob. Thanks for bringing light to this.
Did he honestly think he could get away with this? This is incredible.
Jesus, he didn't even try to make it different
what the fuck some parts are almost word for word the same
I was working on a video to counter some of Weegee's points myself, but after this flawlessly executed response (along with calling out the blatant plagiarism that I was honestly unaware of) I really don't need to anymore.
Thanks for this Bob, excellent as always. Now you get to hear this guy beg you to debate him on livestream, lucky you!
Dude, you did a genuinely good gathering and compiling all of those clips. Glad you made this.
Did not expect to see you here
Weegee is the kid at school who copies websites to complete his homework and then has no idea about the subject when his teacher finds out and questions him about it.
There's sharing certain points because of industry standards and understanding of good recording equipment and environments, and then theres this shit
Jacob The Loofah yeah...GIMME THE NEW SHIT PEOPLE SAY IN TF2 (caps makes me look smart)
jesus, look at that parade of shit in weegee's related videos when there's a shot of his video's page near the end
Are you referring to matthew santoro?
kappa
I just checked Weegee's Twitter, and he's just a complete dick to anyone who owns a Yeti.
Thanks for the video. I sincerely hope that Weegee's channel takes a huge hit. I only watched him before because he collabed with Alpharad.
Gotta smash that unsubscribe button gg weegee
Why were you even subscribed to begin with?
Matthew The Autism Guy Because I watched alpharads content and he was kinda the third wheel in our relationship
nah alpha's fine he doesnt plagiarize and his contents pretty good so i say leave him out of it
Jaylen Scott but they all work together as a company. him weegee turvis dad and deezus
Jaylen Scott its a group like normalboots, channel awes9me and nwa
Ah, man, this hurts. I'm a big fan of Weegee, and when I first watched the video, I thought of it as nothing more than "he's got some good tips, but I don't see that much of a problem with the Yeti if you're just a TH-cam hobbyist." But goddamn, I didn't realise how bad it was. I hope for his sake he tries to remedy this ASAP.
what a juicy scoop you got here bob
God bless you Bobvids. I thrive in you calling out all the bull crap on TH-cam
Great work, dude. Media literacy and critical thinking as essential skills, but hard to put into practice without actively doing so.
This, my friends, is why you don’t drop out of high school to do TH-cam.
Of course weegee adresses the plagiarism under the title 'drama', as if him being called out on theft was done for no good reason.
The video is still up, btw.
i originally thought you were being (...nitpicky?) when presented by weegee, but after watching this video, i can see the amount of insight that you put into this. thanks so much
Good video man, this plagiarism does need to stop. Of course can't stop all of it, but we can do something and bring awareness to it.
When the man's Twitter profile is of him drinking bleach, are they REALLY worth looking up to?
"Oh, by the way, I recorded this on a yeti"
Roast of the year 2017
"you can I copy your homework?"
"yeah just change it a little bit"
Truly the most disgusting thing about this is that there are people who still defend Weegee.
You couldn't of said it any better Bob. Thank You and Keep up the good work.
Why does Weegee keep drawing out the end of words? Like at 3:20
It's small, but I can't help but keep noticing it
he thinks that cadence makes him sound professional but it just sounds like frank sinatra through a cheese grater
rslrandy how can you compare Sinatra to this shit in any way
big man youtube affectation
it is very noticeable and so fucking annoying
Ghost Yon I noticed too.
AND you put soulbrotha's Patreon. Fucking respect, dude.
Dat ending
Thank you for this, I saw the video and it pissed me off. I use a Yeti primarily for the ease of use and it does the job for most situations. Definitely forwarding this on!
how the... how the fuck did he not think everyone would notice this?
Here's the evolution of my audio and channel:
1. 720p/30FPS videos with me using a very crappy Logitech headset mic.
It’s quite useful if you want people from other regions to easily understand what you are saying, but if you don’t have practice using it, it sounds extra robotic.
lmao your mic sounded so good I didn't know it was a yeti and I own one myself.
Weegee has always sucked anyways.
God i love you bobvids, these videos are always so solid in every aspect.
Yeah, I university they would've failed my ass back to freshmen if if wrote something like that
:) plagiarism in South African universities can get you a academic ban of up to 3 yrs.
8:37 Best Part of the entire Video
dammit. right when I thought weegee did something that wasn't shitty
i would feel bad for his inability to produce anything worthwhile if he wasn't a piece of shit
I never watched the soulbro ORIGINAL version and only the Weegee Plays, now I feel bad and stupid.
Soulbro, despite coming off as even more mean-spirited than Weegee at times, is still much better to listen to because of his high quality, and his coherency, unlike Weegee, who doesn't even know what he's talking about.
i like that this ties into other content youve done recently like ewweww? i really like seeing you commenting directly on the state of the site and whatnot. good content
how do we get wegee legally punished for ever narrating anything -- stolen or otherwise -- in that cheesy affected announcer's drawl ever again
Thank you for talking about the Blue Yeti info he got wrong! I knew that wasn't how it sounded. Im very happy with this video
Seeing you help another one of my favorite TH-camrs makes for a good day.
This is still so gross.
Great vid! I was going to leave a comment on Weegee's video. I use a yeti for everything, and he really misrepresented it. The yeti is a workhorse of a mic for anyone starting out streaming or making youtube vids.
Dannylv100 you didn't get the joke *sigh*
Well. I liked Weegee, but seeing this... Holy shit, can't defend this. I'm unsubscribing right after this video.
He probably had his blue yeti mic, On omnidirectional pattern, While inside a military base doing a drill and with an A/C On
I like the "TH-cam ethics police" role Bobvids is starting to take. Keep 'em honest Bob!
#KeepEmHonestBob
LOL I was hoping you would say your entire recording was done on a Yeti, but by the end I forgot about it and was so surprised. It sounds great! My Yeti Pro sounds great, too! I don't know what the other guys were talking about.
Did he think he could get away with this?
Great work, man.
I love my blue yeti and have had no issues with it since I began using it in many different scenarios. recorded music with it, vocals, TH-cam videos and podcasts.
Who would have guessed a Smash Bros. TH-camr would be painfully unoriginal?
+Joshua Rosario if you took either the Paladins or TF2 videos seriously, I don't know what to say. one was a joke and the other was outright bait.
@@GoldRaptor00 A bit of a late response on my end, but I didn't take the videos seriously at all. I understood that he was just trying to rile up each game's respective audience. I still don't like his attitude, however.
You're the best sound, bob. Amazingly informative video that still entertains. Great work!
I remember watching weegees video and have the weridest feeling of Daja vu now I know why lul
Funny to think that the original creator would later make the Class of 09 games
