Let’s go, The Gifted Graduation is next, my favourite season
As u had mentioned, the director was doing emotional blackmail n manipulation, n his ‘last gift’ to pang was to set the scene for pang to see that his approach in taking away his friends potentials without their consent betrayed his friends in the first place, hence his idealism was selfish, undemocratic, unequal and fake. Pang was aware of this deep down (imagine wave voluntarily gave up his potential?! privilege ok but potential no way), that’s why he felt really bad n cried hard right there (not becoz he failed or betrayed by others but disappointed about himself), n didn’t feel betrayed by the class once he regained his memory. In fact, young talented rebels, their struggles n burdens, naive idealism, approaches to achieve greater good etc are themes that will continue into season 2, n the fear that Pang would end up like the director in order to achieve his goal…

I am so extremely glad that you reacted to this, It's one of my favorite shows in existence despite it not being a BL (officially at least 😏)! I got busy so I was just now able to catch up, but omg, your reactions gave me so much deja vu to my first time watching 😂 One of my favorite Thai-show characters of all time is Wave (he is my baby, I love him so so so much) so imagine how excited I was when you said he was your favorite as well! Really, really looking forward to your reactions to the second season!
Gifted graduation is even more good with lots of twist let's go 😅
The actress played Namtaan went abroad study when they were filming season 2, that's why she wasn't there.
With this series there is always a secret plot twist or mindf@ck you can’t trust anyone and that is what I love so much about this show. Still one of the best Thai Lakorns from GMMTV, in my top 5 along with The Gifted Graduation, An Eye for An Eye, My Dear Loser: Edge of 17 and The Warp Effect.
Friend Zone and Friend Zone 2 is a great LGBTQIA+ series, it was directed by P’JoJo and what we all assume “Only Friends” is going to be like.
Black and White should have been in The Gifted program 😂
I would say not standing up for Pang in the end was the better choice - Wave knew they lost and there was no guarantee that the director would keep the promise - most likley they will all forget about this and the chance to do something about the system would be diminish - so better let the director win and do something about this later.
Honestly surprised the director didn't wipe their memories anyway to be honest... seems like the safer, smarter choice for him.
@@EmberWishes I think the director did erase or command them to ignore the memories about Pang. Then the students watch Pang’s video and they remember. Both Pang and the director have strong mind, and they can influence people through their speech
@@EmberWishes this will not be touched again in the 2nd season but I think it is safe to say without spoiler for the 2nd season - he didn´t do it because of his goal and his peronality.
It was so nice to rewatch this amazing series again with your commentary I love all the praise wave has been getting since he is my favorite character (and chimon my favorite actor) so it made me happy he is so loved :) also cant wait for you to continue with the second season it is truly one of the best sequels gmmtv has ever made so im excited to go through it again! also if you like chimons acting and want another series that is kinda their style i recommend "home school" it is also mystery and detective style about a school where the actor chimon has another well developed character that a lot of people fell in love it including me :') it isnt a bl but a really cool watch imo ooo and it has the twins with finally well written storylines too so worth a watch if you are interested (and gun and the girl playing claire too). Also love to see you also diving into kpop and seeing skz my fave group from time to time in the background hehe thanks for the great reactions!!

I'm dying to know when you'll begin reacting to the 2nd season!
I'll be watching one other series before picking up season 2, and then I'll be watching it, I'm excited to pick it up :) Unfortunately I'm unwell at the moment so recording has been delayed until I get my strength back. A lot of people say the second season is the best season, I was surprised to hear that!

I started season 2 in July last year and I've watched an episode every 5 months or so, I've only watched 2 episodes so far 😭 I am committed to watching it but it's taking me aaaaaaaages lol!
