I view most of your videos and I usually don't comment. But since i saw a post asking to discontinue and all. I think you should continue. My reasons are: 1. The other guy is excellent in explaining his drink and his beverage knowledge is good. 2. It's a fresh content or else all we get is biryani and chinese food by most of the food bloggers. Too monotonous. 3. And its a good to see one guy covering food and one covering beverage so someone who lovees to eat and drink both would enjoy alot. 4. The story of these places narrated by both of you is excellent. So yes you do look a bit uncomfortable but it's hardly noticeable. Overall great series. I was waiting for the new episode.
Please don't stop the series, you have a decent views on the other 3 episodes.. and yes sometimes you seem lil off but Arunava da is balancing it with his confidence
Loved this series. Hopefully it generates decent views to be able to trigger season 2. Also Arunabha's explanation is really impressive. Hope to see him in other videos
I would definitely prefer this series to continue. Unlike Breakfast, Chinese, Mughlai series, which are also well presented by so many other vlogging channels, the Office Para Bar series is a unique one where you are taking through so many unexplored places and having Arunava as a co-host is a real pleasure and adds completely new dimension to these vlogs
Thank you so much for the appreciation. We wanted to do something different and something which I relate with myself. Thanks to Shahbaz that he agreed to. This was not his subject but definitely we all enjoyed shooting this series.
I think you are and will get a lot of views from this series. Being from north Kolkata and also working near officepara I am very much familiar with these places. So this series is very close to my heart and I can definitely feel the connection with Arunava da when he enthusiastically describes a bar or the food or drinks. Also the timing of this series is bang on, coz winter is the best time to enjoy eating and drinking out. I will wait eagerly for new episodes in this series. And some places I can suggest are Manthan Songhai bar and restaurant near bow barracks, Cafe Monte Carlo in Mango Lane.
Shahbaz Ji, At the outset a Very Happy New Year to you and the fly. Well done on the vlogging. If you are comfy with such vlogging please continue. But overall your presentation style was pleasant. As for Duke food quality is pretty decent. For drinkers this is quite cheap a place considering the location and its heritage. And a special note of Thanks to Arunabha for adding a touch to the whole presentation As Always. Its better to have a company when it comes to Office Para Bar season❤❤
This a great series but as viewers what I can suggest you is let’s Arun Da take the front runner of this series which will bring a new dynamic in the channel which will let you be in ease for this episodes and you to take the back seat to just enjoy the food and ambience and give your thoughts and let Arun da explain everything in brief manner I think in this series it will bring a different dynamics. Love your craft of work and the way you make us go through all the experiences and sharing honest feedback’s. Keep growing ❤
That’s what I have been doing, it’s been happening naturally also. No point me commenting on things I have 0 knowledge or even interest in. I have done this series because I felt the viewers might enjoy it. As for me? I absolutely love the experience & food I’m getting to try courtesy Arunava showing me around these places.
I am well past the bar hopping age. But back in the day, working in a newspaper office in the area, we did our rounds of most of the bars you have featured so far in this series. I am waiting for Elfin to be featured. Used to be one of our regular haunts. Spent quite a fortune there.
Dada, if you feel uncomfortable, maybe you can nominate someone else from your team to do these as a spin-off series of FoodZpah. I have friends who are uncomfortable with drinking, which is perfectly fine. I think it is better if you can direct this series rather than directly being part of this.
With due respect to Mr. Zaman, Arunava babu was once again the star attraction of this vlog. And it was good of Mr. Zaman to lie low and let Mr. Arunava take the game forward. Also, kudos to Mr. Zaman for acknowledging his discomfort in his unfamiliar territory. After the disappointing episode at the New Empire Bar, no it had nothing to do with the vlog itself, it was your overall disappointment with the food quality (probably microwave cooked / heated Tandoori Chicken, etc.) that gave us - viewers the disappointment. Thanks for featuring Duke Bar which is renowned for its fish items, as Arunabha babu rightly mentioned. You don't come across Mourala and Topshe fry in too many places. One more such place in my knowledge, which is quite close by is Cafe Monte Carlo on R. N. Mukherjee Road. You may consider trying it out some day. Coming back to today's vlog - what was really refreshing were the items sampled. I don't remember any food vlog till date which featured Mourala fry, Green Vetki, etc. And the way Arunava babu 'attacked' his drinks was like a fish taking to its water😂 Using his teeth as a replacement for bottle opener, abandoning fork and spoon and going straight for the food with bare hands (Green Vetki), sampling food from the same bowl without bothering to take up portions in one's own plate - in short - junking all generally accepted norms of etiquette and enjoying the fare just like two young men fresh from college enjoying an evening out. More aptly put Mr. Arunava's performance was like a Risabh Pant innings, extremely entertaining. But to criticise, just to balance the review 😊 Arunabha babu could at least have used a tissue paper in his cupped left hand while sampling the Mourala fry precariously balanced and dangling from the fork held in his right hand. By God your suit was good 👍. At least out of mercy for the suit you could have taken some precaution. Or, shall we say it was sheer confidence - Virendra Sehwag style. But one thing was highly unacceptable - switching over to Vodka, the second drink, without completing the first - and that too Indian Premium Whiskey (or Whisky 😊) !? Nothing short of sacrilege . Whiskeyকে এভাবে অপমান করবেন না, please 😊। দিশী / বাংলা হলে না হয় কথা ছিল। And what about your drinking Rules, regarding this ditching whisky midway for 😊 Vodka ? Whatever, please keep up the spirits. Shall wait for more such episodes with thirst, in future. Best wishes.
Thank you for the detailed comment. Really appreciate 😊 To answer your query - Cafe Monte Carlo was on my list but unfortunately it is now turned into a singing bar and the set up was not appropriate for a detailed vlog. The 2nd Drink (Vodka) was prepared for Aman who was behind the camera, it was not completely consumed by me. I Just had 1 sip to review the drink, I don't mix my Alcohol.
Yes... @FoodZpah should try Raul's at Hazra... It definitely comes under the Office Para Bar & Restaurant category... It's quite cheap and the food is good too...
Just checked after your comments. Their Google rating is showing 3.7, so have my reservations about the place. Let me know the basics please, also if they would allow a shoot. Thanks Both.
Of course I have, I’ve hated the taste of all drinks which is why I don’t. It’s not a religious reasoning, it’s purely taste & preference. Hope this settles things 😊
@FoodZpah only agree to disagree what is an alcohol lover??? Is he an addict.. he loves alcohol so much that he cannot stay away frm it. .. dnt take it otherwise I appreciate ur effort. But it seems u r not comfortable with this particular series. Which is understandable...
Yeah just keep a bottle opener. It doesn't cost much but goes to great length in increasing convenience. You don't expect to use your dental tool when you are sitting in a bar.
Being a food blogger, you are too much selective of having food, should take all the foods. Yes I do understand about hard drinks in islamic religion but whats the point of not having mutton liver and you have mentioned "boro animal"
I’m a human first, blogger second. I give due respect & consideration to others choices, so why should I have a different yardstick for myself? This is my profession, not my life. I don’t wish to do anything that I’m not willing to or comfortable doing and won’t be pressurised too. Hope this answers your doubts.
@FoodZpah it's my perception whatever I have shared and vice versa. But I find something missing(don't want to mention)that's why I quit your channel and unsubscribed
@@abhishekkolay4446 yeah, listening to you complaining without putting forward my point perhaps. Perhaps you aren’t used to that, or weren’t expecting a “food blogger” to do that. Hope unsubscribing gives you inner peace. 😊
Wah! Do make an episode over there. It's a lovely place which has maintained it's essence without dressing up things in a modern manner. It is outrageously popular among local office goers and is my favourite no nonsense bar as well. The service is also very good. Something which many places lack nowadays.

Arunava should start his own channel exclusively on drinks...with his knowledge it will be superhit
Please create a video for the same series at "Broadway Bar & Restaurant" at Chandni G. C. Avenue
