Pull has Seaport Strip & Jak X: Combat Racing, InprisonedShadow has the Super Smash Bros. franchise, Hekksu has the first episode of Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Jeremy Thompson has Spyro: Year of the Dragon... and you have this game. How you are so good at this game is beyond even me.
Is intresting how in the gamecube version your health is represented by the bananas you have at all times, while the wii version only uses bananas as health during bossfights, outside bossfights you are limited to 3 hits
Why is this so underrated. You've been making this content for so long, and if this were brought to the reccomendations, it'd light up so fast. We all played this game during our childhood and to this day, I believe it's one of the only well made GameCube games out there, aside from star fox adventures.
As someone who has played this game getting all plats pre cactus king, and then started the game a 2nd time years later to get ALL plats 100% the game, it pains me to see you just run right past all the bananas as fast as possible lmaoo. I've never tried beating this game as fast as possible before, it's definitely an interesting perspective! Edit - it's an *extra* interesting perspective, bc I just now realized looking at the time stamps that this speedrum does include Ghastly king, don't you need 51 crests still to unlock him? That's like Gold on most kingdoms. Super Excited to watch the rest of this run!!
Yeah it's mostly golds, a couple of platinum and silvers thrown in there. If you do want to see me run past less bananas, I also have a speedrun up where I get all platinums. It would be labeled as "100%" Anyway, glad you're enjoying
I would like to have that setup on stream sometime yeah. That being said, any personal best runs I get with that setup I would crop the camera out and filter out the mic for the youtube upload (the latter of which I already do) so it would be a live stream exclusive thing, or I could upload 2 different versions I guess. We'll see!
I really wanna play this. I'm looking at DK Bongo prices on eBay and they're not expensive. But do they hold up well over time? You think I'll be okay buying a used pair?
You should definitely be fine with a used pair, especially for casual play. Worst that happens to them over time is the clap sensor can get a little wonky (which sometimes is an easy fix with opening & cleaning) but that shouldn't affect you much outside of speedrunning stuff.
@@boon9924 I appreciate your response. I've been practicing my DKC run but I don't foresee myself breaking an hour any time soon. I've never tried to run a rhythm-based game so it might be fun to attempt since I just love Donkey Kong. Great content by the way!
