twilight princess knocked it out of the park with the minibosses. Death sword, the Darknut, ook, etc. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a dark link fight
I agree, especially since dark link appeared in the interlopers cutscene, that would've been some epic foreshadowing!!
0:31 when the phantom becomes visible, turns around and screams at you, looking like it's a decaying demon...
he's one of the best zelda minibosses no doubt.

TV Tropes says that if you turn on your wolf senses in this guy's room BEFORE you fight it, you can see it waiting, holding onto its sword. Pretty much horrifying!

Maybe it was just the Wii or GameCube version or something, and I was playing the HD Wii U version when doing that, so it might be that.

Y’all Death Sword is a deformed Ghirahim who was cursed by the Sheikah tribe and the sword he uses was once Demises sword. Arbiter Ground was built by Sheikah Tribe and they keep the sword there in order to keep it unexposed

This is a very cool theory that I personally don’t believe, but Death Sword’s fingernails look so in-characterly fabulous that it came pretty close to convincing me that it’s Ghirahim lol
What instrument is that at 0:46? The first thing that comes to mind for me is a harpsichord but I have no idea if that’s right?
I’ve been listening to the newest song on 惑井’s channel and it has some instrumentals that sound really similar to that bit, so now I’m feeling super nostalgic for this song and for this game!
