Does the trans tune make the torque converter stay locked properly in 5th rather than unlocking at the merest hint of throttle? What particularly annoys me is they way it kicks down from locked in 6th to unlocked in 5th with the trans refusing to lock 5th until you are on the flat again. If it fixes this then I’m sold.
That’s exactly why we do it Obviously under a heavy load, big incline or full acceleration it will unlock. But we set it up so it locks up 4th, 5th and 6th and won’t unlock or kick down easily

It’s not the same car, but you can always come and drive my Hilux to see how it works
