Cried a lot listening to this book because I was hearing things that I was struggling to believe about myself and about how I should be taking care of my space. Thank you so much for writing and reading How to Keep House While Drowning. It was desperately needed.

And remember, some days, lying in bed, hiding under the covers, is the PERFECT and most appropriate thing to do. It's not lazy. It is being kind to one's self when needed. It's better than passing out exhausted somewhere away from home.

You have saved me from so much self-bullying KC, thank you! I have lived the majority of my life w undiagnosed ADHD and couldn’t figure out why I was irritable and restless and couldn’t focus to complete tasks. Seems simple to handle chores, right?! Not so for some of us…grateful for the 5-step tidying tool. A lifesaver when I have a ton to do and don’t know where to start. The struggle is real! Because of our struggles we are able to be empathetic, compassionate to truly help others. Gentle compassion for yourself and from others has been the missing link, much too often. Thank you for the great insights. Love the book! ❤

Hi, I loved your book, especially because you read it to me! If we've only checked out the audiobook from the library, do we have access to the appendix you mentioned? I think it has pintables? If there's a way to get it please tell me how, thank you. I did put the book itself on hold, if we're able to see it there, but it's a 15 week wait. I've listened to the audiobook twice and recommended it to my friend.

I need to know where to look for help for my mom. She's got dementia or something close to it. And before the end of this month she's going to be delivered to my door, until I can find her a place nearby. Any advice will be welcomed.

Also she's really really ornery, confrontational, argumentative, and I'm the middle child, in her eyes the bla7ck sheep, the only one of three that she ABSOLUTELY does not trust. I don't want this responsibility but no one else will take it on.

My grandma has dementia and the easiest thing to do for both of you is to go along with her as much as you can. My grandma hasn’t driven for years now but when she tells me she needs to collect her car I say ‘no problem we can go get it later’ etc. It’s kinder to play along than to confuse them further with trying to explain reality to them constantly. And will save you a lot of arguments because in her head what she’s saying is her truth and her reality at the time. It’s a really horrible disease and I hope you manage to find some help with your mom x

Hyperbaric oxygen! The results are amazing but because it's not covered by insurance, so many suffer needlessly! I run 2 chambers in Dayton, TN and literally watched a woman that had had a stroke, came in mumbling, 6 treatments last she wad telling me her new doctor's name and the date AND time of her appt. because it had slipped her husband's mind! IT WORKS!
