Spent many a Christmas in Sears with friends that lived at Bickel Camp.
Turkey and Ham from dutch oven in hole in the ground can't be beat!
The cabins out there need some love, Sears needs a new roof and it's porch fixed, Joni needs it's porch fixed also.
Ace-o-Spades is nearly a goner tho and prob not coming back.
There may be some work done by us if we can get back out there. :)

There are some great pumice exposures up in the Chalfant Valley north of Bishop too. Were you filming Cudahy? It's funny how we get so taken in by gold mines when a lot of these more mundane mines were far more successful overall.

@@DocWrangler sorry what I meant was is that Cudahy Mine in this video? I saw another video about Cudahy mine which is in an area near where you were in this video. Makes sense that all the pumice mines are around. So much volcanism along the whole 395. As a geologist I can’t get enough of it.
