Hi Kara, I've made my own wedging board thanks to your tutorial here. I'm waiting for it to set. In the meantime I want to know which side you use to do the wedging. The bottom has feet thanks to the plastic box and the top isn't 100% smooth thanks to tiny bubbles that rise to the surface just before it goes hard.
I made one of these and all is well, thank you for the instructions! However, it moves all the time when I wedge, which is very difficult. Any ideas on how you stabilise yours? I’m thinking of adding a non stick mat under it, but thought I’d check with the community first 😊
Amazing video and very helpful. Just made the same using your instructions and I'm enjoying reading your book too.
A massive help, thank you Kara. You video skills are also great!
Glad it was helpful!
This video info was so needed. Thank you Kara Leigh!
You are so welcome!
I think your videos are great! I take notes on all you demo. 😊
Thank you Nancy! 😊

I'd use the smoother side, but it's your call. Why not try both? Maybe try sand the feet off?
Amazing thank you

A non-stick matt could work. You could also use a damp tea towel underneath to stop it moving.
Hi! Do you have a link to where you bought the plaster in its powdered form?
Here you go...www.bathpotters.co.uk/potters-plaster-potp/p2290
There are lots of bubbles and dots of dish soap coming to the top. Maybe my brand dish soap wasn’t the best choice to use as a release agent. 🤷♀️
