BEBE1/2 cv upright hit and miss engine Not a Maytag

This is the only one know as of now the 10 years i have had it the story goes there was over a 100 castings
it looks like they did copy from the maytag but the base has columns on the corners plus the raised lettering BEBE 1/2 CV in French witch would BABY 1/2 HP
I have a AD some where from 1917 was made in Quebec Canada
