Check out my home page and go to community to see picture of the tank cooled engine build I have put this before here are some close up the main body has some what of the shape of a Bates&Edmonds the side shaft from some other engine i seen all the parts i made from steel everything is shop made depending on the engine 15 to 20 lbs of welding rods and many grinding wheels anywhere from 500 hour...

I have had this bike for 42 years it was red black and white sorry i painted it white going to put it back Had to order a new ignition box last year the Hitachi electronic ignition only had spark on one cylinder got it from the UK Fired right up after about 15 years still sits on the Michelins it was raced with came from someone that worked at the dealer a few miles from me

Decided after 8 years to try and start this engine took a coupe of hours to get timing right and fuel set Not sure on the year 50's 60's these were casting that you would machine there was ads in Popular Mechanics magazines and others there was 4 diffrent engine castings

This engine came with a R magneto the engine was bought about 50 years ago The pot metal bracket broke then after a few runs engine sat outside till about 15 years ago was all jammed up that's when we got into engines bought this bracket and found a couple of these mags Not known to be good but works will change to to a r if it dies

One of 5 home made engines it has larger flywheels now these were from a 3hp London 18'' now has 24'' lister can be seen in Fathers day engine show clip the other 3 engines to the left of it are some of the other shop made engines

Yes black again a few parts went missing 30 plus years ago but anything needed can be bought in the UK gave a fast sanding on gas tank to find the paint that was there no pictures when i bought it

I think this is the largest Brownwall I have seen yet. I have a 1hp and have seen and almost bought a 3 horse years ago, but lacked the cash at the time.
I got a 1 hp going for someone years ago this one is starting to run well the rings were stuck they are starting to set back into place .have only ran it a couple of hours .this engine almost went to scrap saved by a few days
Good save! It's amazing how much is still being scrapped or thrown in the trash. A friend of mine saved a fairly nice Admiral console stereo from the 60's that was just set out on the curb for the trash right before a hard rain hit. Sounds great and only had a wire loose.

its quiet, is...I SAID, ITS QUIET, ISNT IT? lol, sorta looks like its meant to be in a boat... may subdue it somewhat. thats an odd exhaust otherwise.

John your would look the same with a rough cut board I just modified a spark plug some day it will have a igniter inside piston trip
