Had the pleasure to meet John in person this year at WordCamp Miami 2018. And it's awesome how much his vision still prevails and just gets deeper. And it's amazing to be able to call a man like that your idol.
Thanks for having John as a guest in your interviews, I'm sure he will continue to change others people's lives for a better, like my own!
Kudos to High Res and John.

It would be amazing for you to include timestamps for significant insights (similar to podcast chapters) you highlighted in the intro for those not able to tune into the 60 minute podcast. Thank you for these awesome podcasts!

Thank you for this, as much of this rings true. As a designer who works mostly with tangible products, what I am seeing with the influx of new design tools is a gradual decline in the learning curve of skills necessary to participate in the classical design process. Maybe the products of the future will be better because we'll be making them for ourselves? Computational design could cement this.

A huge Inspiration with John and HighRes. I have a question though:
In design, an idea in one's head is so complete that it's hard to begin working, any tips on making 'the beginners move' will be so helpful. And again so grateful to the amazing questions and so straight forward answers!!👍👌

I have a question about "Design in tech report 2017" John Maeda has made recently. He has mentioned some free resources for accelerated learning including High Resolution and MIT Media Lab. Could you make a little more explanation about the latter?

Yes - designers don’t need college they need on the job experience! Don’t waste your money - go apprentice with a design company
