Great quote about the heroin and monthly salary addictions.
This is actually an adaptation from this quote written by Nassim Nicholas Taleb:
“The three most harmful addictions are heroin, carbohydrates, and a monthly salary.”

I know that I'm not adding to much value with my comment, but I love how you brand yourselves and dress the same in every interview. I love this attention to details.

Wow! This has been my favorite interview so far! This guy blows my mind every time! Here is my favorite part: "Most companies outsource design. And when you outsource something, what you are basically saying is that is definitely not your competitive advantage. What you do is you outsource things that you just needs to get done, but it is not really core to what it’s going to make you stand out and I look for teams that don’t outsource their competitive advantage..."
This also comes in handy when looking for a job. You will be investing your time and resources into the product and the team.

But if I'm not a designer, and I'm creating a SaaS service, but I'm trying to design and understand all of the psychology etc... am I better outsourcing or not lol or either work with a real designer? :D

This interview is a killer. Belsky is dropping so much knowledge! I really enjoyed the dialogue for deciding "what your willing to be bad at" . Its an Ego crusher. I'm a graphic designer and use Behance. I can definitely relate to all the points brought up during this interview. I appreciate the emphasis on The Discipline of the Problem Solving. Thumbs up!
