wood turning easter egg with feet

this is my Easter egg with ducks feet. The egg is made from pine boards and is a lidded box....possibly for more eggs. The feet and legs are hand carved...well hand carved using a selection of power tools and sand paper.....they are made from mahogany walnut and poplar.
The finish on the egg is three coats of white acrylic paint with green spots of chalk paint. the legs are finished with shellac.

Thanks David....I was doing that at 6.30 in the morning before I went to work....so the glue would set before the evening......could have been my hand.....I was chancing it a bit with that drill...the point guides the way...it worked out OK....cheers 😀
