I really appreciate the wide vibrato. It's absurd how nonexistent it is in most of the modern players. So it's great to see and should be pointed out more

In the words of Nik Nocturnal.. God damnit Dan.. I thought I could play at least some of this song but now seeing how he plays it I'm not even in the same time zone. The smoothness and nuance in each phrase and riff is unparalleled. INK and Dan deserve nothing but praise and success.
God I’m so happy this is the song you chose because it’s very easily my favorite of the album. I’m a sucker for big biddly boodly chromatic carnival bullshit in music because really NOBODY does it outside of theater or in more traditional music (Greek Bouzouki music is filthy with chromatic runs.)

While the whole album is great, this is easily my favorite track off Horrorwood. And Dan is a ridiculously underrated guitarist. There just isn't anything close to the technicality of Assault & Batteries in MAINSTREAM metal right now.

Funny thing, when you listen to the song it doesn’t sound that difficult but once you see the guitar playthrough, you know that it’s some advanced stuff. I love how the song has enough space for those runs and it still sounds busy. Definitely impressive _\m/

I was just curious for anyone that's seen them live, does he play that octave lead over the chorus as well? I really like the sound of it here but I can't seem to hear it in the normal mix on streaming services. I know leads are supposed to be quiet to emphasize the vocals but I can't hear it at all.
honestly i was never really a fan of INK but this song really is impressive from the guitar work, to sampling the toys r us jingle in the chorus it's really an original unpredictable song.
