here is conparison of all the timers together cause idk (spoilers lol) normal room: 1:15 locked door: 2:15 seeks 1st hallway intro: 0:58 painting room (door 45): 0:49 jeffs shop, door 60, infirmary, halts corridor, courtyard: 15:42 door 61: 3:46 seeks 2nd hallway intro: 0:33 door 82 & 83: 0:26 library & door 100: 14:17 greenhouse (already shown the timers so it dont matter)
So… something weird happened when trying to get rocky road badge, I was near the end at like 180-190 but then dread spawned and not even 2 seconds later it instantly killed me, I haven’t even spent that long in the room and had no modifiers on for it, not even the random ones
Dread became a menace in the lategame mines; if you dont work on the minecart puzzle room immediately, you’re getting cooked and served (forgot if i had a dread mods there). Same with halt; if you go in too early without another locker nearby you may be cooked

So is that why I died at 85 to Dread? I mean I had to survive ambush twice and figure out how the new seek chase works just to died at a submerge section where I wouldn’t have had enough time to escape before Dread or all entities ends me -_-
The clock shows when Dread will appear. If you are actively moving around the room, Dread's timer will slowly increase. When the clock hits midnight, Dread will appear. Reaching the next room will reset the timer and get rid of Dread if they appeared already. So if Dread appears, you gotta sprint to the next room before they reach you. It can get a little hectic according to this one video, where they had the "Much Faster Dread" modifier enabled, and Dread appeared *in the middle of the second Seek chase in the mines.*

my guess is that hiding in a closet also counts as afk, afking will stop the clock till you move, thats why it was a bit slower that time 6:01

Yea Dread has been seriously buffed for the Mines. Had a similar thing happen to me on door 195, he spawned within a minute
