heres a fun fact that happed to me when playing Pressure: in endless. as you keep going on. the more hard to spawn monsters spawn more commonly. i got A-60 4 times at room 263 and room 273 every 4 doors i opened after the 4th time he stopped coming and pandemonium came most of the time instead..
Probably because they have more chances of going by. Let’s say Pandemonium has 0.01% of spawning on door 19, and his chance of spawning upgrade by 0.01% every door you open or by X%… It gets to a higher and for exemple maybe 30% of spawning on door 235
I mean, it is possible, but besides the fact that it is a bit hard to tell where's the middle, even if you are, it is still the equivalent of rolling a 6 in a dice almost full of 1's
Dude, I streamed lockerless attempts a few days ago thinking it was going to take a bunch of runs. It took me 2 runs. That’s it. They may have messed speedrunners up, but they sure made lockerless easy.
I used an alt account to see if it was easier with the new update... Took me 200 attempts... No joke. 40% of the runs were waterfall rooms. 10% of the runs were Pandemonium, and then the other 50% was room types, and Front anglers
As a mobile player. We cant relate to this bcs eyefestation is ez as heck and gen is the worst bcs we can actually accidently click on our screen and mess it up
I'd say it's easier to get TO the ridge, and not easier to do lockerless. Since there are no new rooms for the ridge, so the ridge is still a massive gamble.
The ridge actually has a new room where you have to walk for a while across some rocks while following the green light, and it makes the ridge even harder now 😅. But yeah there aren’t any new safe spots in the ridge.
Helpful tips: •if you go to settings, then accessibility settings, you can turn on deaf mode, which is visual sounds. It is very useful because the edges of your screen changes color depending on the entity (grey: normal angler. Green: chain smoker. Pink: pinkie. Brown: frogger. Light grey: Blitz. Red: pandemonium. White: Squiddle) •if you go to a side room, and put yourself up against the wall the door for it is at, it will be a pandemonium safe spot, so you can survive pandemonium that way (anglers also can’t see you there) •deaf mode also has footsteps on the visual sounds, including your own, so if there is a set of footsteps that aren’t supposed to be there, then turn around because of a wall dweller (deaf mode does not work on candlebarers, candlebrutes, and good people. Any other entities it doesn’t work on, I forgot) •anglers are half blind, so they have a designated kill path. They go from the previous door to the next door (vice versa if they come from the room ahead)
Also reduced epilepsy is good it makes the lights dim instead of flicker and if its a dark room with Eyefestation it gets rid of the things on the side so u can see better
I can say with the new Update, there's so many new side room variation but also if you gott to the bottom feeders room, well you're kinda screwed if u don't have SPR-INT since the angler can come from the front. I managed to get through the entirety of doors 100 **Lockerless** and also **Lightless** but died in The Ridge around 3 doors in, as said in video, good rng still needed but it's much more favorable to get into safe spot especially side room.
@MiguelPBlueFox I got that encounter when I was trying the four point five update with my friend and legit got stuck for around 5 minutes cause bottom feeder and turret won't stop attacking us (only 2 survive)
I COULD NOT do lockerless before 4.5 but when the update came out it took me 2 ATEEMPTS and only because on the first one I found the new room with 2 bridges and I didn't know that one of them could be broken
i found out they made the dying before door 1 badge way easier too and less rng based. when spawning you could just turn around and interact with the N.A.V.I. at the back of the submarine and after interacting enough she just kills you
i found a safe spot by sheer luck that does not look safe in the slightest. in the heavy containment area it's pretty safe but there's this one room im pretty sure is new that's a straight line that takes a right turn with like cranes and shipping containers that goes down a story blocked by fences and pillars. at the end of the room with the last pillar poking out by the fence if you hug it and look down you'll be safe. i think i have a picture but i didn't record it
In start of server rooms i hid in the corner of a room to the left of the box to the left of the door there was also a locker to my left and there was no vent This was against chainsmoker
10:10 the telescope is indeed a pss, you just need to be at the center (of behind the telescope) and slowly move to the direction Pandemonium was coming after u hear him at the opposite side (I have used it to hide from Pandemonium before)
tip on how not to die while you yapping aka not die to Wall Dweller. just turn on Deaf mode. basically. it won't get rid of sounds but. it will indicate the sound. like: Footsteps, Keycard noise and the Monsters sounds like: Angler, Pinkie, Chainsmoker, Blitz, Pandemonium and Squiddles when they are getting mad. (and A-60 i guess lol)

I think they did make lockerless a piece of cake with the recent update. I'd only attempted lockerless 3 times in the past and figured I just needed more knowledge of the HIPS spots (hiding in plain sight for those who don't know what HIPS stands for...). Yesterday I decided that I had practiced enough and gave it a shot, took me 2 attempts only (lost my first attempt to an angler after getitng 3 long hallways with no HIPS spots, unlucky). I almost died in the last room of the ridge due to lag but somehow ended up being fine
Quick tip for the swimming pipe rooms: The flare heads will be pointed in the right direction, making traversing the pipes in a speedrun that much easier. I found this accidentally when I was playing with friends.
Tbh I though it'll be harder with mines and stuff since it would prevent speedy gambles for pss / ss rooms when out of luck, but other things... Yeah. I've got tbs under 35 mins, lockerless + lightless and then managed lockerless + dmgless + lightless pre update. Those been a great challenge. Usually it's an RNG but also skill and knowledge. If you'll do multiple challenges at once it'll be much harder than doing one. Firstly been aiming for lightless and lockerless at once and I don't regret it since now I deem all lights in game almost useless xD
At 13:40 the stairs there are a pss if you go all the way to the back, crouch, and look down, aslong as that isn't the right door or the door that is not broken
I've done 20+ attempts at lockerless. Sprint does definitely help, but a lot is RNG based. Even with the new rooms, some runs still come down to "which path will angler take?"
at 13:50 the stairs are actually a pandemonium safe spot, you just need to crouch and look down while pressing yourself as close to the top as possible, the same is true for the stairs going down except you should stick as close to the bottom step as possible instead
I got close to beating lockerless several times before the update. Did it on my first try after the update, mostly due to SPR-INT syringes saving me from bad RNG moments.
Yeah I got on pressure after this update to play infinite after not playing for months and did pretty good in that, but it got me interested again. I went into normal the next day and did lockerless on my very first run lmao It's definitely easier than it was, I don't think there was an instance where having sprint necessarily saved me, but it definitely made it easier to run to and from doors in ridge without worrying. I timed out pande in ridge and I had really good safe spot luck with like 4 rooms having pss. It's definitely still rng but it's a lot more manageable than it was.
So many previous guaranteed keycard rooms are now not. Kinda surprise me a little too. Many rooms with siderooms or branches now usually are non-keycard room
Back when I completed Lockerless, it was all the way back in August before they updated certain rooms that made it easier. Which means I think I got some bragging rights now
Lockerless now is more easier probably because Zeal added more room with a safe spot. I literally get into Ridge 3 times in a row in a lockerless run. Even though Lockerless is still a RNG hell, i somehow managed to consistently pass through the first encounter with Searchlight
its definitely easier now because of the new room types having a hiding spot most of the time, and the SPRINT needles help alot, its still very rng based though

Died over 150 times doing lockerless This took place only about a few days after the friendly fire update came out But I do agree that it’s easier now than it was before
In the ridge you could just find a pss (pando safe spot), camp there until a smoker comes, follow it, find a nother pss, and repeat. (You could also scput the room befor the last one your going to, to look for a pss)
Me realizing that Mr Lopee(..?) works just like Void (when ur friends go on but u stay in a room) AND Glitch (loading a room and catching you from falling into the backrooms) from Doors.
I can confirm that lockerless is easier now, got the achivement on my third attempt after the update (also got really lucky with Pandemonium spawning both in normal doors and the ridge while I was in a pss)
as someone who somehow beat it 1st attempt in one of the prev versions, I can say probly a lot less hard now also I have a tiny bit of vid only at the end be cuz I beat the game lockerless 1st try and i was not rec editor's note: i got so lucky lol
Lockerless might be easier, but here the thing: Lockerless requires SO MUCH SKILL, even if your a pro. The RNG needs to be GODLY if you wanna do this. Based on this update, the SPR-INT is a must in the start.
Actually thats a candlebrute, not a candlebearer. You can see that when he shines the light it doesnt actually stop. Because the candle brute only gets sluggish in light, not frozen. Why they didnt just put the candlebearer there i dont know.
Correct me if I’m wrong… but a friend told me that if you do Lockerless on a run, Pande will never spawn. I’m not sure if that’s true, so I need verification.
Did anyone notice that less monster spawn after door 100 because me and my friend had 45 doors with no monster and this happened every run i think less monster spawn because more dark rooms spawn
Definitely easier but nothing will hand me back my 100 deaths pre update. Still haven’t gotten it yet but considering how easy it has been to get to at least 50+ doors per run, I expect to get it before the new year.

i did 500+ run and only 3 pandemoniums were the notable thing that spawned

9:25 is not a "good room," anglers will take the path through the whole room for some reason. if you see that room, it is not a safe spot.

what i hate the most from the bottom feeders sub-rooms is the rooms that contain turrets and you can add the cherry on top if a angler is passing by

tip; there's actually a PSS in the big fan room if you hide next to one of the boxes/crate infront of the forklift vehicle thingy

By the way, in the pipe room, you cannot hide in it to avoid Pandemonium anymore, I tried it and it saw me even well in the middle of the pipe

For some reason, I believe ENDLESS is a more.. Lucky game. I got guardian angel, void mass, and even NAVI AI on room 4.
I can confirm that lockerless is easier now, got the achivement on my third attempt after the update (also got really lucky with Pandemonium spawning both in normal doors and the ridge while I was in a pss)
as someone who somehow beat it 1st attempt in one of the prev versions, I can say probly a lot less hard now also I have a tiny bit of vid only at the end be cuz I beat the game lockerless 1st try and i was not rec

Lockerless might be easier, but here the thing: Lockerless requires SO MUCH SKILL, even if your a pro. The RNG needs to be GODLY if you wanna do this. Based on this update, the SPR-INT is a must in the start.

Actually thats a candlebrute, not a candlebearer. You can see that when he shines the light it doesnt actually stop. Because the candle brute only gets sluggish in light, not frozen. Why they didnt just put the candlebearer there i dont know.

Yea i beaten it yesterday its much easier with the new rooms and the SPR-INT
and i only needed 8 attemps
Did anyone notice that less monster spawn after door 100 because me and my friend had 45 doors with no monster and this happened every run i think less monster spawn because more dark rooms spawn
Devs make a badge that if you got the locker less badge before the update we get a special badge
Definitely easier but nothing will hand me back my 100 deaths pre update. Still haven’t gotten it yet but considering how easy it has been to get to at least 50+ doors per run, I expect to get it before the new year.
