Hi all! I hope you like my colorful space bugs :) Which is your favorite tyranid color scheme, and why? (Maybe I can paint my version of it in a future video 😊 )
I would love to see a Hive Fleet Hydra version in this colourful style the original scheme looks very dark and I think it could look cool with more colour. I was planning on doing Hydra but haven't committed as I'm still trying to figure out a good recipe
Love the idea! My suggestion would be to make the pages and booklet in a coiled format - so you may add or remove pages to a few different sized coils to mix and match journal contents as desired. This would allow more customization, much like options from a print shop.
In the end also couldn't resist the Leviathan box set and now my pile of shame nearly doubled 😅 But I am looking forward for the Tyranids, as I have never painted anything similar 😁
The satin finish of the contrast paints is a big turn off for me, it is very evident in the turntable video part near the end. Maybe you should have hit the model with a matte varnish before shooting that? Just an idea for the next video :) Now get back to painting Infinity models!
Normally, I am not a fan of the satin finish either, but in this case, it seemed somehow appropriate 😅 Just the other day I ordered the Vallejo Xpress color set and I am quite curious if that is as matte as people say.
@ph3lansminiatures I like some of the contrast jobs where the painter brushes on a thin layer of gloss clear, but only on the flesh. Leaving the armour and claws satin. Multiple texture finishes on a model really elevates an end result IMO

Hivefleet Coconut Crab is the best thing that happened to 40K IMO, paint that maybe? :)

Loved this scheme, going to try and steal most of it for my 1 model a week challenge starting in 2025!
I love this color scheme! I may use it for my own models.
Nicely done!

The nice thing about my pile of shame is that a Leviathan box's worth of miniatures barely changes its size in terms of percentages 🤣
I'm sad I'm seeing this video after I've base coated all my bugs red T_T this scheme is epic
The nice thing about tyranids is that there is always more of them :D You can use this for the next batch.
What specific colors are in min 1:50 and 2:20? i want to make the same colors :P Good Job :DD
Those are matte black primer from vallejo and simple white paint from vallejo for the zenithal highlight :)
