Oh my gosh THANK YOU. I could not find this anywhere in the fitbit community and couldn't figure out why my heart rate wouldn't show up while I was in workout setting. Thought it was broken!

Thanks so much for this helpful video! With my hemophobia, a constant heart monitor would be extremely triggering for me and would dissuade me from wearing my new Fitbit. I had put it on On-Clip, but I think that is too sensitive for basic movements (as I'm still wearing it on my wrist). I didn't realize there was a Heart Rate toggle in addition to the Heart Zone toggle! This improves my experience greatly.

I went for 2 weeks on a charge after I turned off heart rate by mistake. Just checked it and it was still 50% charged. At any rate ....a good long time

I have the setting on wrist and not on clip and my heart rate is on and the green light is flashing however won't track my heart rate and my steps and sleep data is not being sent to my phone/app.
