Hey.. this is lovely and your acting is effortless.
Please can you do a video on “ how to analyze monologues that have no extra information like those found on scripts”
In monologues, if there’s no extra information such as character descriptions, relationship to the other character, what happened just before the monologue, etc. I personally like to use as many context clues as I can that are given within the text and then make up the rest of the left-out, extra info with my imagination. It allows you to be in control of the scene. Hope this helps!
I thought your self tape was amazing, I loved seeing how you acted with your whole body, with your shoulders, facial expressions, I could see the mood changes in how you carried yourself, truly amazing. This is a wonderful self-tape overall! 💕 I love your smooth transition of emotions and your change of eyeline based on where your corresponding actor was in the scene.
You could try to tie your hair back to make it easier to see the emotion on your face.

I’ve been thinking about starting an acting career for about the past year or two now it’s literally my dream and all I think about 😩but I’m such a shy person I’m trying to find a way to break out of that😩 plus I’m 19 turning 20 this year and I know most actors start off as child actors but I feel with hard work anything is possible.

Thank you for including your scene. I really liked it. I loved your action at the beginning (really reading/inspecting something and mouthing what you were looking at) and your surprise. Wonderful listening and taking in your partner (even though you probably weren't even seeing him on a screen).

I dont know if u have done this but can you do self-headshots that dont need to many supplies since we are in covid and stuff
You can take great headshots by using just a smartphone, preferably iPhone. All you need is a tripod, your phone (and portrait mode pref.) , lighting (either natural light from a window or using a lighting kit) and that’s it! And make sure to blur your background while editing your photo to make sure the focus is on your face! The best app I recommend is Adobe Photoshop which is free!

You dont need an agent to audition but its better
And tell your mom that this is your dream and that you take this seriously but makayla made a video about it

The best way to find an agent is through a referral. So maybe ask some friends in your acting class about their agents and maybe they will refer you to them which will have a way better chance of you getting one. Also, if you book a paying gig you could also find a good talent agency in your area with a google search and email them that you want them to represent you for this job. You have a higher chance of getting an agent this way

OMG GURL YOUR SELF TAPE WAS AMAZING. I’m an aspiring teen actress and screenwriter from New York, but I always get super nervous when sharing my work with ppl. I hope to one day be a really good screenwriter so that I can cast myself into a Netflix original one day, but everyone in my life so far has told me that being in this industry means serving tables until I’m in my 30’s. I don’t have any acting experience thus far, but I’m considering acting camp this summer. I just feel like no one’s there to support my dream or they think that it’s just a phase, but I’ve known for a long time that I want to pursue a career in the creative industry; not for fame and money, but for me.

i have been trying to find a agent but i can’t find one is there a App where you can just fine agents i use backstage but i can’t find anything so is there like a link where I can just find agents but not imdbpro you have to pay for it and um no😭
Backstage has a list of agencies and you don’t have to pay to look at the list. Look down through the list and the ones in your area take down their contact info and either go to their website or email them
And most importantly never ever pay for an agent!!!!!! They work of commission the work they get you they make a percentage from!!!
