Omg, being on HSMTMTS is such a dream for me. One agent once said that I would be perfect for that show. And I hope that if they will make a 3rd season or something, I could audition for it. Just that would be amazing.

It's so encouraging to see you openly talk about the things you were rejected from, and the reality of the fact that a lot of casting is completely out of your control... Thank you!

A tip to other people who have struggles with noises. I would say try to project your voice so yours can possible go over the noise or go to a different quiet place. Projecting means basically speaking louder. Theater kids sometimes do this based on distance of the audience so their voice can still be heard.

I think for the High School musical audition you should've auditioned for Sofia Wylie Character Gina Porter because you kind of look just like her fr gurl
I watch ur vids all the time and take a lot of your critiques and advise into a lot of consideration while I film my auditions! I got around 2-3 callbacks in about a month that I could still possibly hear back from, using ur advice! I loved your last audition tape in this vid. There was definitely improvement throughout each of these tapes!❤️
#1. I know Odd Squad, have a few friends who got their start on it and would definitely give you a callback. The energy and delivery fit perfect with the atmosphere of the show.
#2. Knowing the circumstances I would've absolutely given you a callback to see what you could really do free from the extenuating circumstances. Unfortunately, from the casting director's perspective, not knowing what we watching this do, I wouldn't be able to justify a callback for that tape as a standalone piece of work.
#3. Yes to the callback. Plain and simple. You did great! Go Makayla! 🤩🎉Perfect audition for Nick.

I relate to your videos so much!! 🙌🏽 You keep it so real and honest, it’s very rare to see people actually describing accurately what it’s like for us actors!
1. Yes, I think it was exact the right energy needed for young kids show! There might have been a few technical tweaks but you definitely understood the character super well.
2. I think it makes sense why this one was a miss, given the circumstances. ( I feel like for me the more I want a project the worse I do in the audition cause I’m more focused on being the right pick than being the character)
3. Yes, you brought a lot of fun unique choices that added life and humour to the scene! You definitely could be a Nickelodeon series regular 🙌🏽

A while back, there was a scam talent agency that had us do self-tape, and I remember being so happy when they texted back and said that they liked what I did, only to realize it was a scam. Ever since I tried reading a script, I’ve been hooked on becoming a real actor, and I’m trying to do as much research as possible! Your channel has helped so much and I just want to thank you 🥰❤️ !! Though I’m afraid I’m too old to begin acting as a 13 year old, and of what could happen if I poured my life fully into acting and ended up financially struggling, so I’m still trying to decide if I really want to be an actor.
If you didn’t want to read all that because it’s rlly long and boring and blah blah, then bassically just Tysm for making you videos, they have been EXTREMELY helpful! :D ✨

It’s crazy how obvious it is that a lot of acting is luck... you and Olivia Rodrigo were on a show together and now she’s in the series you also auditioned for but she got the role. I don’t mean to sound rude to you Maykayla, in fact my thoughts are quite the opposite: I think that you and Olivia have the same level of talent, but since casting isn’t based off of talent alone, you didn’t get the part. 2. Mmm maybe or no… because it felt like ur character was changing personalities like one time ur nice and then ur bored and then ur mad and yes u did get distracted, but you did do good at some parts and honestly the audio did not bother me that much.

the thing about getting the role is so true bc I can relate. This year I auditioned for the school play and auditioned for a rly small role but didn't get it (the auditions was us singing a song and thats it) later of of the two leads dropped out and I once again auditioned but didn't get it. the last time I continued and the witch had dropped out and I got it and (sry if im bragging) but I rocked it. I got the witch in Into The Woods

1. Yes I would give you a callback because you had energy and I was literally smiling the whole time whit watching. 2. I wouldn’t mind about the noise if it was good and if they casted someone a different race it was never going to happen. 3 yes yes yes perfect lighting no sounds background reader was clear putting your hands up as if it was on a wheel loved loved loved how you kinda jolted back when you braked and how your body moved when you went fast kinda like on a roller coasters out try to hold on and keep your back all the way to the seat.
