@@limonbattery Yeah, I miss PO88's videos too. I was actually the one who suggested he does Ringed Knight vs. Abyss Watchers, and it was so awesome to see that blow up, and I am sad it's gone now. A lot of his battles were redone by Bonfire and/or Pantagana now (i.e. Yhorm/Midir/Gael fights or Haralds vs. Ascended Winged Knights), but some are still pretty unique: the way he recorded Friede vs. Gael was probably still the most "anime" AI battle ever. Though, to be fair, Bonfire's 2 tournament videos had an inherently flawed premise of equating the knights' HP, but nothing else, which horribly screwed up Black Knight vs. Ringed Knight battle (RKs' whole point is that their endgame HP and damage offsets their limited poise, so giving them same HP as Black Knight but letting BKs keep far more poise is ridiculous), and led to Lothric Knights somehow beating Corvian Knights, so I think it was a good thing he abandoned it. Besides that, though, I think the problem with Knight Tournament is that you need a number of contestants that's a power of 2 (8, 16, 32, 64) for it to go smoothly and avoid the situation where there's eventually an odd number of fighters and someone will either go without a match, or have to fight against two opponents. That's why Pantagana limited the NPC tournament to 32 NPCs (there was about a dozen more who could have fought, but there was no way to get them to 64), and it's unclear if there's a way to get the Knight Tournament to fit in this range, even if you include the "Knight" NPCs like Hodrick or Gael. If someone does do the Knight Tournament though (probably Pantagana, but way down the line), I think it would be cool to treat each weapon variant of each knight as a separate fighter (i.e. the three Ringed Knight types can get matched up with Cathedral UGS, Black Knight Axe and Lothric War Banner, respectively) rather than use more Bonfire-style "team elimination" battles.
@Samuel Wong Jia Qi 19016957 Oh yeah, I remember he was on bilibili as well! It would be nice if you could link me to one of those fights, or maybe just to his channel. Thank you for naming those other channels, too! It's interesting how they all differ. Garden of Eyes is the one I have been watching for a while with its focus on Bloodborne (and a handful of Demons' Souls videos). Verum Hominem looks like a Sekiro specialist channel, which is something Benzoin Gum used to do a lot last year (and after he got tired of being the only channel to make DS2 fights), before going silent for a long time, and then switching to Ni-Oh 2 recently. Nuffly893 is also more into Ni-Oh 2 recently, though he has quite a few old DS3 vids, alongside a bunch of random stuff. DarkSoulsIsLove DarkSoulsIsLife has been inactive for the past 2 years, and was really into making Ringed Knights and Gael fight: seemingly half its videos are about different RK varieties fighting Gael at different modifiers. I think its flaw was going way overboard with those: when everyone is at 5X or 15X HP or with buffed speed and the like, it's nowhere near as interesting as pure fights or those with minimal adjustments, imo. Gwynerere's Battle Arena is the newest of these channels and is like a cross between Bonfire/Pantagana and Limit Breakers, with half his videos being about stats and voiceover analysis. So, yeah, since we are mentioning other channels, I'll once again bring up Benzoin Gum (largest collection of DS2 fights, a bunch of Sekiro and really old DS fights, now posts Ni-Oh 2 fights every few days) and maybe Zullie the Witch (creator of the tools PO88 used, although she prefers to do random quirky mod uploads).
